I love my eGo... but I keep thinking that maybe I should invest in a 3.7v because the batteries are cheaper...

I have a 5v... saber - love it -
I'll never want a 6v...

Any thoughts? Could I save money over ego batts in the long run with a 3.7 mod?

IS the Indulgence kit as good as it looks at 60.00?

Thanks,

-G

PS: thanks for all of the previous good advice

Not only do you save money over the long haul but you also aren't tied to a proprietary battery. I'd suggest a less expensive box mod like the Nicostick, Ken's box mod or my favorite, the Bartleby that has a charging cord where you charge the battery right in the box. A Bart is $50 since you have the other hardware needed. Another more recent 'star' is the 'wetbox' for @$50 that also has a 'juice dispenser' that works rather well, imo. Then if you like the 3.7 peak volt experience (and vapor) vs. the 3.2v of the eGo, you could look into other mods like the Protege, Provape and other 3.7v mods that don't assume you want the 6v capability. IOW, they're fit for a really good, imo, 3.7v batt - the 14500 which is good for 8 hours of vaping with most of 6-7 hours at a high rate too!

The choices are vast. I suggest that you explore ViZi's comprensive guide to mods. You'll see that ViZi distinguishes among three types of mods: box mods (a few of which Kent has mentioned), custom mods (the best know of which is your eGO), and tube mods (my favorite).

Each category and each mod in it is unique, varying by: price, size, shape, weight, battery used, voltage, mAh, material, button, button position, safety provisions, special features, color, designs, etc. Most are pretty good and it is a matter of personal preference (and budget). See which strike your fancy ... then track down text and video reviews of them.

Don't rush into it. You already have a very good PV. Those batteries probably will last for quite some time. Try to identify what, if anything, is missing for you ... and then identify the device that fills the void. It may even be in the same family, i.e., other "custom mods" (or what I call "Fat Batts," since they are not really mods).

It may not even be a different battery that would best meet your needs at this time, but a different atomizer. You have been using the most popular: the 510. But it is not everyone's favorite (e.g., I prefer the penstyle). You might fall in love with my long, slender Joye 302 or the tiny Joye 306 (which works with the eGO without adapter) or the convenience of cartomizers (510 or Kr8) or the tried and true 901, etc.

As for the Indulgence: You do realize that the nude models are not included. Right?;) [To my eye, two of the sexiest mods today are not yet included in ViZi's database: the Precious M (the shortest and sleekest 14500-based mod) and the Tekk (using two 18650 batteries to provide 4000 mAh).]
