Got my eGo, but what's next?

Got my ego 2 weeks ago and love it, 3.7 volts is great, but I think I am going to want more in the near future. I've been doing research on my next purchase and I think I want a 6 volt. As of right now it seems the Provari is the best choice for me, but it is quite pricey.

What are some good 6 volt or more vaporizers that are portable like the Provari? Please share any information you have to better my next purchase. Thanks.

First of all, the ProVari is not a 6V mod. [Well I guess you could say it is, as well as a 4.1V, 4.7V, 5.3V, 5.8V, etc. ... you get the drift).] It is a variable voltage mod, which is the type of mod I recommend. Other than aesthetic, build-quality considerations, I don't see the point of getting a fixed voltage mod these days. The odds are very good that your ideal voltage for your favorite atomizer is 4.1, 4.8 or 5.3, for example, rather than 3.7, 5.0, or 6.0.

The ProVari is a great VV mod, but if its $160 price tag is a bit steep for you: at half the price, you can get the new Infinity. Doesn't have all the bells and whistles (e.g., digital display) and its 600 mAh batteries will need to be recharged more frequently than the ProVari's 1100 mAh batts ... but it is simpler to use and sleek in appearance.

Other VV mods are described in this post of The Wonderful World of Mods in the ECF Library.

Also, the EGO is 3.2v not 3.7. There are arguments about this all over ECF but the 3.2 wins out every time. Put it on a multimeter and you will see. Maybe you won't need the 6v after all.

I believe all Ego's are 3.4 not 3.2 at least all mine are, accept for a few of the newer look a likes which are 3.7, I have one ego that I put a meter on right now that is 3.7 as well and it's a Janty Ego. , You may want to recheck this PM2006.

Don Da Bomb's got it right, the Provari is a darn nice Mod, you can find cheaper VV mods but this one is nice, you also can find a VV Mod with juice feed like the VV Ali'i which is also another fine unit, but one that is getting readi to be released soon is the Eclipse and it will have all of this and it may be very worth while waiting just a bit longer to have this instead of the others, I know I'm very much looking forward to this = The Eclipse eq (Patent Pending) is the newest innovation in Personal Vaporizer Technology.
