Got the Go-Go a couple of weeks ago and have been trying to use it as my main PV at work due to the long battery life and long lasting cartos (I had been using the eGo tank and LR306 cartos at work, but had to top off often).
The problem I have with the Go-Go is the carto performance / taste. I can get 90+ drops in the carto, but after using it for a short while (30 minutes maybe) I start to get a burnt / dry taste. At that point I try to add a few more drop, but the carto is still pretty much full… I have tried my favorite 70/30% pg/vg juice and also some 100% pg Dekang juice both with the same results. I have tried the standard and LR cartos both with the same results.

I really want to like this device and would really like to use it as my main work PV.
Can anyone offer any advice on using these Go-Go cartos successfully?

Thanks in advance.

I have been using GoGo for 2 weeks now and have not had any real wicking issues with the cartos...at least this is what you seem to be having. Although I have had a few hits that taste like the carto might be getting dry, even though I know it isn't. The only things I do in normal practice are...

...keep the GoGo in upright position if possible. I never "worry" about this, but I will stand it on end as opposed to laying it down whenever possible. These do NOT leak (so far anyway) so it only makes sense to use gravity to keep the element wet.

...Blow into the mouthpiece if you start to notice anything dry/burnt. I have only had to do this a few times, and really only on the carto that I have now refilled 7 times. But I have noticed that blowing into the mouthpiece took it from a semi-dry hit to an almost too wet hit. If I remember back I used to do the same with my KR808 once in a while, and these cartos are a similar concept.

I hope some of this helps. Unfortunately none of this explains why you would need to do this so quickly after a carto filling, so I'd be interested to hear any results.

Most of my juice is PG/VG = 70/30, some being 80/20 and a little 60/40. But now that I stop to think the PureCig, Wyatt Earp, RY4 and RY5 from FSUSA are all only available in 50/50, and I use RY4/5 and PureCig for sure in the GoGo.

Yes, I cleaned one using what I think is a fairly typical KR808 filler carto method. Now don't quote me cuz I am NO carto expert, but I basically boiled the carto for a few minutes, used a syringe to push some fresh water thru the filler a few times then sat the carto in a 200 degree oven for 30 minutes or so. Actually the oven was on for 30, then I left the carto in there until it cooled down, another few hours I guess.
Filled it the next day and it worked virtually like new, although it would only accept 70 drops. Problem is I have lost track of which carto this was so i don't have any further results on it's post-cleaning performance.

I am getting of the opinion that 5 refills is likely a realistic milestone for these before they need cleaning. Based on that I expect to clean a batch of 3 this weekend and will pay better attention to how I do the cleaning as well as mark them to track performance.

anytime...especially if they help. If they don't, mum's the word

Speaking of issues...I just experienced the oddest thing. Somehow I now have 1 battery that will not fire 1 carto. That carto works on all other batterys, that same battery works on all the other cartos. Ohms are good, voltage good. Man this makes NO sense. Button lights but no burn, but only on that particular set of parts.

Go figure.

Maybe I bought custom matched sets and didn't know it? lol
