I've been Americanizing things today

I've Gibson branded my rDNA with a decal left over from a guitar headstock I fixed. Now it's fully Clapton coil certified.

Insert witty and mildly sardonic comment about the American dollar that I'm too lazy to make. Two VTC4s re-wrapped with clear shrink wrap, they look really cool. Is chopping up American currency a federal offense?

Great....... Now we can start flooding eBay with "Vintage" and "Road Worn" vaping gear and charge 6 times what it's original value was when you bought it.

It's not. Contrary to popular belief, simply defacing currency is not a crime. The only thing that's illegal is altering it to resemble a higher value (that's counterfeiting). You can turn 10's into 1's and draw moustaches on Ben Franklin all you want, just don't write any extra zero's on there and you'll be fine.

i knew there was a reason i have been saving my old gear. it has authentic, natural patina vs the forced "fake" wear. I'll be rich someday.

I've got a fairly realistic looking 1,000,000 bill that came in a wallet I bought at a leather shop. They had then made as their cards. I held on to it because it looked cool. Now I know what to do with it.

Remember- the more beat and banged up it is, the higher the value! Bonus money if you replace any of it's parts with nuts or bolts from a hardware store!

Seems the other 54 countries on America are a bit underrepresented.
I don't understand

I was gonna contradict and say Clapton uses Fender, but ...

All the stuff he did with the Bluesbreakers was on a Les Paul.

I had a $2 bill for years which I kept in my wallet as a good luck charm. But when I went to use it today it was gone, so it wasn't that lucky after all.

"America" is not a country. It is a continent. 3 continents to be exact. South America, Central America and North America. Each is comprised of separate countries. When you say God bless, America, you are actually referring to the UNITED STATES of America which is a country and part of the North American continent. Boden feels you are being exclusive against the other 54 countries that comprise the American continents by just including stuff made in the United States.

This concludes our Geography lesson for today.

If i was in Mexico & said i was in America, I'd find myself in a Mexican jail. Or is that an American jail?..

Ah I understand, so everyone who says god bless America is wrong.
Not wrong. You're just covering more ground than you intended. :D
If you want to keep it exclusive it would be, "God bless the United States of America."

And that's supposing you're not an atheist as well.
