Two to three weeks is pretty good for a 510 atty... although there are certainly those that have lasted longer.

Personally, I don't mind sacrificing an atty a week to the cause. Money wise that's not big deal.. especially when compared to analogs in Wisconsin.
ugh I wish I could say the same i'm up like 70 or so bucks and down almost 100 dollars more till I break even and now ordering more crap.

He didn't mention after washing the atty with water that he blew it out, let it dry, and primed it with juice before using it again.

If he didn't get all the water out, the juice won't wick and he'd end up with a dry steam burn after the water evaperated.
Yeah, I'm wondering after cleaning it, how long you let it dry?

On most 510 attys there is a wick(fiber string) under the bridge of the atty. If you drip only you should remove that wick. If you are going to use filled carts then the wick should not be removed. The bridge material on a 510 atty is so small that they put that wick in to help with the transfer of liquid to the coil.

This seems pretty logical. Assuming that it's the coil that does the vaporizing and the bridge is there just to supply fluid to the coil. Now I wonder if a bridgeless and wickless atomizer would suit drippers better.

You can puff off a gummed up atty for a while, all the gnarly stuff stuck in it puts off vapor but it doesnt taste good like a couple fresh drops on the bridge, ya know?
yeah I put a few drops on the bridge loaded a new cart

same bland taste, the coffee was strong a few days ago and now its pure vapor and the cart is still full

this makes no sense
