Do you have hosting or domain ownership through these guys? Well then maybe you should consider canceling the hosting and/or transferring your domain to another registrar right now! It seems that GoDaddy supports SOPA! All of my files are downloading to my HDD right now and when the download finishes they will be deleted from the server and I will close the hosting account; a domain transfer is in progress right now! (Didn't realize it when I started it but I'm actually moving to the same registrar as this site!) Here's a link to the instructions I used to transfer my domain. There are a number of companies offering discounts to people leaving GoDaddy, I'd post the info but I'm not sure if it would be spam but this info should be easy to find. Hopefully this gets a few people to close their accounts because I hope these creeps go out of business now!

Pretty ridiculous, imo. I mean I'm sure some customers really appreciated their support of SOPA so now, after annoying the ones that don't support it, they've gone and annoyed the ones that do support it and probably alienated themselves from even more of their customer base. I certainly don't plan on changing my opinion on them because it was bad enough that they even supported it in the first place but how seriously can one take GoDaddy's stance on any issue now, regardless of whether it's the one you think is right?

They lost any chance of being taken seriously by me the minute they chose to name their business "godaddy".
