A good inverter will solve your problem. I personally have a solar battery set from goalzero but only because my mother in law got me it for camping lights and what not. Thise retail pretty high BUT I love that battery!

But I digress. Just find a good powrr inverter and use it through the cigarette lighter (if you have one that says power source use that instead as you can blow a fuse through the cigarette one if the draw is too much) and vape away! Camping is so much better with vaping :D:thumbup:

sent from my phone via tapatalk 2 because I can't stop reading and posting on ECF

I think the issue is that when people leave any said device
in a car UN-attended and Charging (car off-hot)

sorta along the lines of leaving a dog in a car

if you have good equipment and have car running (attended and cool)
I don't think you would have a problem IMO
no expert, but it is how I go about it... YMMV

I vape with a passthru USB while driving and also allow to charge
it all gets unplugged when I'm not in/using vehicle

Also, if I left a BATT in vehicle while I was gone (if hot) I give it time to cool down , or what I mean
don't plug in an excessive hot Battery

With all the bad talk about car chargers exploding batteries, what am I to do? I have a good plug in charger with dual USB ports from belkin. Will this be safe? I also have a 115 volt ac outlet in my truck, but I'd have toward the ignition turned on for it to work.

I think if you have a Good USB Cigarette plug in you should be Fine.

Are you going to have the Truck with you at all times?

Ditto on the power inverter, which it sounds like you may already have. If you have a 110v AC outlet in your truck, then the factory installed a power inverter for you and you may not need a second one. But you know... backups for backups and what not.

The truck will be parked next to my tent. I will be gone during the day riding my dirtbike in the woods. I planned on charging my ego batt while I was at camp using my backup at the end of the day. I would not leave it plugged in while I was sleeping. just 2 or three hrs in the truck while drinking cold beer with friends around the campfire.

If you Truck is going to be at your Camp Site, you should be in Good Shape.

I do Camping sometimes where we Leave the Truck at the End of the Road and then Hike up to the Camp Site. For that, I got a 9,800mAh External Batteries that has 5v USB Output.

Works Great for Charging eGo's, Cell Phone or GPS.

I have something similar, but only 3700mah. I've never needed to use it.
