I drank a gallon of water on Friday and over the weekend, but didn't notice the flavors getting better. I could actually taste something when I got home from work yesterday, though, to my surprise. I kept the water intake up but the flavor started to fade a bit before I went to bed.

I guess I was more dehydrated than I thought!

Still, I could only taste a limited range of flavors. I'm starting to think I may not only need to vape on some unflavored DIY liquid over the next few days but I'll also need to limit the amount of flavors I try every day. I think I was getting tastebud overload. 6-10 flavors per day, switching between them every time I needed to redrip, just in the search of that ever-elusive ADV.

I found myself healing by drinking tons of water during vaping and not chain vaping as much. I feel my taste buds not so numb. I also switch between 3 different flavors only vaping 1.5ml each versus the full tank of just one flavor.

It's def. something I know I learned the hard way.

I also get vapers tongue for long periods of time...and after trying every single thing I read about, there was no relief. Do try everything. I am now drinking (diet) ginger ale all day. And using mild flavors like mints and the new Neutral from Ahlusion. I just got a Nautilus Mini because I had heard how strong the flavors come thru...and then I got a cold. I had a wild wonderful afternoon with it....oh well.

Got that problem twice so far, got rid of it after 48 hours, this was what worked for me both times,:

Inhaling the smell of fresh coffee beans
Sucking a slice of lemon
Eat some pickles
Water. LOTS of it

Love the pickles, hate the lemon. I'll do both anyway!

I found a liquid that just blasted through my vapers tongue. I swear, at lunch I was vaping on some liquids i could barely taste and when I dripped this new liquid that came in the mail yesterday afternoon it's like I never had vapers tongue. After that I redripped the liquids I couldn't taste before and...I could taste them again!

What the hell?

Anyway, I'm pretty happy right now. I can taste most of my liquids again, but I have no idea how it happened. I might still vape on some unflavored liquid for a week since I've got 500 mL each of VG and PG now...

I'm keeping some lemons on hand, for sure. I did notice it helped for a short while on Monday.

The Biotene is also making my mouth not feel as dry. Didn't affect that flavor euphoria yesterday (i used the Biotene at night and this morning) but I'm sure flavors will only get better today. Still drinking water.

Now I just need some pickles.

If anyone's wondering, the flavor that took me on a wonderful return journey to flavor land is DBLiquid's Sir Cantwood.

It's good to see that your period of vaper tongue has ended, but for future reference or for anyone that might be reading this later on I'll share my remedies.

I find that vaper's tongue has nothing to do with vaping the same flavor(s) over long durations. Once I vaped the same flavor for 4 months straight and never had a problem. I only noticed that it happens when vaping overly complex flavors (juice w/ 3 or more flavors) for moderate amounts of time.

I've tried drinking extra water, mouth wash, lemons, etc and the only thing that I've found that works is Menthol. I had vaper's tongue last week and with 3 days of Menthol it was gone. Keep in mind that I've never had vaper's tongue that didn't last any shorter than 2-3 weeks.
