Hey all,
I'll try to keep this simple. I'm going on a cruise next weekend. Right now I have an Atlantis strapped to an istick 50 watt. I am thinking of grabbing something a little stealthier but I'm afraid going back to a nautilus might be disappointing. I thought about a rebuildable but I don't want to be in the middle of the ocean with no internet and a wonky build. Basically I want something I can tone down a bit as even out in public I don't like standing out with my clouds around me like Pig pen. Plus it sucks my battery(using triton coil) and my juice but I diy so that's not a huge issue. I was thinking subtank mini with the new 1.5 but don't know if that would help.

I'd buy another Atlantis ( if you like it) put higher ohm coils in it and use it when being semi-discreet. And keep the other with the lower coils in it for in the room or outside on the decks, they're windy as hell so the vapor won't be there long.

Bonus when you get back you have a backup tank or sell it on the classies like it was a rental and you get the deposit back. :D

Wow, you guys are incredible .Thank you for such quick replies.

I will definitely check out the rules as far as vaping goes. I actually haven't done that and it's a really good point.

I wasn't aware of higher ohm coils for Atlantis V1? I did try one from the triton but that was terribly awkward with a tight draw and bumping it up just to get some flavor and it was really hot.

I'd have to buy another Nautilus if I went that route because I messed mine up trying to change the o-rings. Which is why I figured if I'm going to buy something might as well be an upgrade.

so 2 cents you might not like...but out in the middle of the ocean, I'd want something that fires steadily all the time
and wont require any time on my end to play with= Id be "stealth-conscious". For me it'd be the ProVari mini with the largest capacity no refill necessary tank on top...all in black. It'd be built to last a week at a time with AdV juices.

Awesome thanks for the heads up. I totally overlooked it. Thank god I do have a balcony. I guess I'll have to adjust and not walk around with the thing to my lips all day

You'll get used to it, I was a smoker and was either too busy to worry about smoking or somewhere I could.

Depends on the cruise line (in regards to balcony smoking and in cabin smoking). I sat on the balcony vaping but was careful not to draw attention to my area (low volume vapor).

Princess cruise lines now follows the no smoking no vaping unless in designated areas. They even put in the reading material to only use chargers that go with the device and to not charge batteries unattended. Princess cruise line also has no more smoking in cabins or balconies.

I'm not familiar with other cruise lines at this time.

Good point, my advice was based on Carnival cruise lines.

I dream of the day when people get their heads out of their butts and vaping is accepted as not an issue.

I would say that it would be nice if there was a standard.....At this time, no way do I want that.

They are giving more/better advise regarding batteries than MOST vape shops!

I agree. I know for sure if I was someone who "rented" rooms for anything, I'd rather have them filled with vapers instead of smokers from a cleaning and deodorizing point of view.

I was quite surprised when I read that! It sounded to me like they've been monitoring things. :)
