Ok, I have read the forums and the stickies and I know that LR cartos aren't approved for use with the Wetbox.
But I have more than one Wetbox (even a broken one that is going to be sent in-I was too hard on the switch) as well as other mods, so I figured I'd do some beta testing on my own.
BACK STORY:
I got some of the Royal Smoker cartos and after trying them on my Little Chuck (they work great) I still got juice in my mouth, and filling with the syringe is a pain. I am virtually blind in one eye because of a fight (misspent youth) so finding those little holes was a big challenge.
The Wetbox is the perfect mod IMO, except it doesn't quite give me the throat hit I crave. I even got a Buzz, and dialed it in where it worked great but the dripper tank rubber-banded to the side was messy and lots of juice in the mouth. Blech. The cartos get hot sometimes, too. So I was using cartos filed with the condom method at home on the Buzz and the Wetbox when driving. A good solution, but not perfect.
The Decision:
No guts, no glory, and sometimes you just gotta wade into something and accept the consequences. The Wetbox could explode or melt, I could burn my mouth--heck, I could even ruin Christmas! But mankind MUST move forward!
The Results:
Absolute pure, unadulterated VAPING HEAVEN!!!!!! Awesome throat hit, no burned juice, no juice in the mouth, and lots of tasty vapor! I have found* the perfect vapor device, bar NONE. I can barely contain my glee. I have been using this combo for an hour and no failure in sight. It definitely burns through the juice at a higher rate, but a tank should still last all day or a good night out bar hopping.
The high drains are on the charger as well.
Safety:
I highly recommend it, but USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. I could be doing something stupidly dangerous and foolhardy, but that's my gig. I saw GG Allin live once.
