BTW Bones - I don't get why I am not having your kind of luck with cartos. Maybe I am just too particular about vapor and throat hit. Do you find that they produce the same after 2-3 weeks as when you first pop 'em on? To be honest, only a couple of mine have truly died to the point where they didn't produce anything. But the rest dropped off so much that I just wasn't getting any satisfaction from them. But maybe that's typical. I dunno. But at least they work for you, and you're happy with them. That gives me hope that eventually I'll hit on a way to get the same results.

I do not notice much of a difference but I am only 4 days analog free so I am vaping the crap out of this box to keep the monkey off the back. I always did a double draw when I smoked and I do a double draw and sometimes triple draw on the wetbox. As long as I have a good juice, I get a big throat hit and a huge vapor all the way to the end of the carto's life. But then again, that could be due to my smoking style. My personal litmus test for good vapor is being able to blow at least 9 thick smoke rings inside a big plume of vapor coupled with a solid TH. If I cannot do that consistantly all day long then the juice isn't up to par for me and psychologically I am not satisfied and start getting mad cravings for analogs. So far I am getting my monies worth out of my cartos.

Yeah I've seen you on the Ali'i thread, this is one of my next purchase too, you're lucky to have ordered one! Lemme buy a lots of flavors for my DIY then I'll buy one, let's hope I can make it my christmas gift to myself in december. I think you're primarily a cartomizer type of guy like me with your wetbox but you have experience with atomizer that I don't, so quick question if I'm still right, the Ali'i is only atomizer so doesn't it bother you or are you just gonna make the switch to an atomizer? What's your plan when you get your Ali'i?

I started off with atomizers when I first got my Blu knockoff and then switched to an RN4081. When they came out with cartos for the RN4081, I was hooked. I am not a fan of constantly refilling carts or dripping, especially since I really like to vape when I drive, so for me, cartos were the solution. But with the Ali'i being a juice feeder, I can benefit from the better durability of attys without the hassle of dripping or refilling, so I kind of figure it's a win-win.

In my experience, attys, if they're kept wet, can last for weeks, or even a few months, before dying. My luck with cartos hasn't been as good. RN4081 cartos last a couple of weeks, but with the Wetbox, I find myself swapping them out after a couple of days. But they are cheap, and even if a pack of 5 lasts me only 10 days, it's cheaper than smoking.

What I'll probably end up doing is using the Ali'i at home and in the car, and using the Wetbox at the beach or anywhere I wouldn't want to risk damaging the Ali'i.

I will also agree that the wetbox looks better on paper, over it's practical application. Since i use LR atty's, and really don't use cartomizers, I purchased it after seeing you tube videos of people using LR attys without a problem. However when i plug any type of atty on the wetbox (LR or Reg), i get no airflow so it's like sucking through a wetsock...so I realized then, that i had to cut the needle down a little bit. Since then I've had better luck with using LR atty's. The problem is now the needle is short enough to not ground out the coil of the atty, but it's not long enough to feed juice into the atty itself, so I find myself still having to drip. What another option is, literally.....put your LR atty with drip tip, and use the bottle that was given to you during the purchase, take out the needle, put a dripper on it, and a screw top. Now you have a dripping kit with a 900mah battery, plus a bottle holder when on the go. So you just have to open the box, take out the 3ml bottle, and drip into atty, put bottle back in wetbox and close it up. So you basically have a storage compartment which is still a good deal for 40-50 dollars. It's not like we spent 100 bucks, or 150$ ...you get what you pay for.

I ordered some LR cartos, and I'm going to switch back to a regular size needle (i purchased a few 510 needle kits because i knew i'd be messing with them) - I will then fill up the cartomizer with the syringe, and when its starts to lose flavor i will use the standard needle that comes with the wetbox and give it a try and finally be able to test it with a cartomizer. I used it with regular cartomizers, but after using LR attys, i can can never use a regular ohm atty or carto again.

I'm going to be purchasing a vape-mate from Super T - that looks like the absolute way to go in terms of practical application. Avoiding dripping, and always getting proper vapor, flavor, and airflow.
