Hi all,

Allmost 2 weeks off cigs now and not looking back :vapor: Anyways I'm going to Cuba in a week and I obviously want to bring my e cigs, juice, spare stuff ect. Are there any Canadians around that could shed some light on this?

I have 4 things of 30 ml juices which I wanna bring or should I get some smaller containers so in case customs takes them I won't loose all my juice. I'm just worried coming back into Canada because of the whole nic juice thing I will be stoped possibly. I'm not worried about not beeing able to vape on the plane ect. I can go a few hours with out. Also will filled clearomizers possibly burst from the pressure on the plane?

Also maby ecigs and or nic juice is not allowed in Cuba?... Although I highly doubt this lol

Like Chelly said just make sure you do not have over the specified amount of liquid in your carry on. I have travelled with mods to mexico absolutely no issues. I allways put together 2 kits 1 in my carry on and 1 in my checked luggage. The Stardusts are fine I took them with me last trip no leakage.

Highly doubt it. The bottles of pop, water, whatever else they have up there don't explode, and if there was as much pressure as you seem to think there is our heads would all explode  hehehehehe

Geez no need to be mean lmfao jk. When you put it that way I guess it makes sence. Have you ever gotten Pringles on the plane? There always puffed out from the pressure...have no idea why that would make me think a stardust would explode though lol

I was in Cuba for the end of February and beginning of March, and I'm quite sure you would have no problem bringing vape stuff with you, though they may question you on what it is at the airport -- we had to go through a security scan coming *into* Cuba, and they asked me about a pack of spare batteries I brought for the camera.

For carry-on, you're allowed up to a litre of fluid, so long as it's in containers 100 mL or less apiece.

My advice for you is to watch out for temptation - people are allowed to smoke practically anywhere, and smokes are extremely cheap. I say this because I figured on quitting during our vacation - it was a stress-free time, after all, and yeah. I didn't last a day.

Where are you staying, by the way?

I got back from Veradaro on the 25th of April. I carried eGo batteries, 1 in my pocket, 1 in carry on, 1 checked. At security, I took the Star Dust off and put it in the liquid bag and the battery in the tray. Same coming home and through Customs. Nobody even asked about them, anywhere. A few questions in Havana and on the street in Veradaro from people curious about my "cigar". Lol

I never smoked while I was there, although I thought I would be tempted. Never was. OTOH, I tell myself it's OK to smoke if I have to. That seems to relieve some pressure, and I don't really want to.

I would only smoke now to preserve my sanity or to save someones life. Lol (You know what I mean!)

Edit: Actually on the return there were no liquid restrictions. I just put the eGo/Star Dust in the tray. (and no vaping in the "you know where" unless it is necessary and done "stealthily".)

Relax! Enjoy! (Wear a hat!)

ahhh Cuba.

My beloved Cuba.

I wouldn't be too concerned, as others above have posted you should be fine.

Tourists get a pretty free ride (within reason) First time I went a family was stopped on entry, somehow they were detected as having Oxycontins. They tried saying they had scripts and bla bla (maybe even provided them who knows) but were told they were illegal in Cuba. The pills were "confiscated" and the people were still allowed entry no problem, oxy free.

Sadly I must take a breather next winter. My wife's tummy can no longer handle the terrible, terrible food. I must say it was tough for me as well, and I am the least picky of eaters.

I love the beer and meeting the locals. Buying bootlegged stogies off the beach for fourty bucks and seeing if they burn or not. Meeting all the fellow Canadians at the resorts.

Ive often said that Cuba is the 11th province.

Other than the grub Cuba is my little island paradiso. Have a great trip!

*Edit*

Not sure if you have been before, but if this is the first time take a bunch of stuff from home that you no longer use/want etc etc. The locals have very little and appreciate any donations from tooth brushes to clothes to...anything. I always take some unliked colognes that were given to me and hand them out, or baseball gloves, toys, anything really. Anyone I find to be "cool" in conversation I try to give them a little something. Canada stuff too, shot glasses, flags, hats....stuff we take for granted and stuff in the closet.
