Going to finally upgrade from batteries to a box mod

So my local vape shop has a box mod called the u20 istick clone, it fires as low as 0.3 ohms and up to 2 ohms, it has a wattage ceiling of 20w. Or I could pick up an mvp 2. Is it really worth sub-ohming? Will I notice a big change in clouds? I had been running my itaste vv 3 at 0.9 ohms at the max of 11 watts but it really didn't change my kayfun clouds that noticeably.

So fellow vapers, which should I get and why? I'm leaning more towards the u20 as it's smaller and more compact and I'm known for dropping larger things.

Also going to add the note that I could get the new CF aspire battery too, but I'm not going to have a charger so in the long run it would be a failed attempt to switch over. I really wanted to get the new 30 watt eleaf istick but I have no stores around me that are going to carry them, and I don't really want to get something right now because I know the new products are coming very soon, but I really have no choice, my itaste vv 3 was dropped and it no longer works, after autofiring and being weird for a half hour afterwards, and I'm down to one 350mah ego-t battery so I really have no choice but to get a decent box mod. The U-20 concerns me only in the fact that I can't find any reviews online and have no idea how long it will last.

Yeah, only putting out 20 watts kind of defeats the purpose of going down to 0.3 ohms. Typically low sub-ohm builds tend to be made from thick wire (26ga or less) and with multiple coils. There's just no way that 20 watts can heat up that much wire. Granted, I've built to exactly 1 ohm for the istick and it's kind of a pain that it doesn't want to fire moderate (or on the cusp of) sub-ohm coils, but I don't think it's a huge improvement.

I'd probably look for a higher wattage mod. Not sure about the CF stuff either.

U20 Kit

This is essentially the same : Eleaf iStick 20W Battery - Eciggity

This would be your best option with the best protection & performance : Eleaf iStick 50W Battery - Eciggity

Or wait a couple more weeks : Innokin iTaste MVP3.0 | 30watt | Smoke City Ca
I would love to buy online but sadly I only have an ego-t 350mah battery from 2012, my other one just died about an hour ago for good, won't charge or anything, so sadly I'm going to need to buy it physically at a B&M store, I have 2 near me so I'm going to see which one has better options and get something to hold me over until I can get something better later on down the road. I think I may get the u20 only because it can fire as low as 0.3 ohms, but I'm really wondering, is sub-ohming really worth it in terms of more vapor and better nicotine delivery?

EDIT- Just read readeuler's post, which mods should I look at? I only have $55 to spend and it has to be a physical purchase because I currently have no backups as my itaste vv v3 died last night after being dropped on the sidewalk, worked for a half hour after and then just died.

OK, disregard my previous post, kinda. If this is a "I need something to fire my coils and it needs to happen in-person, today", that u20 will be perfectly good; isticks are perfectly good. The main take away should be that you shouldn't expect to go out and buy an Atlantis, or wrap your own 24ga dual coils, and expect it to work well just because the u20 can fire it.

If the price is right, the u20 is perfectly good. Since it can fire 20watts, I'd pick it up over the MVP2, with only 11 watts.

Normally I wouldn't recommend this to just anyone, but you have a few vaping years under your belt. You "need" something NOW, and will look for a "want" mod sometime in the future, correct? Get a mechanical mod. It would end up as your forever backup, if any other mods go south the mech will always be reliable. Maybe see if your local shop will do some kind of bundle deal with a mod, battery and charger. An inexpensive nemesis clone would be a good start. The battery is the most important part of the purchase...read up on battery safety if this is a route you'd be interested in. Good luck with whatever you choose!
