(Shopping cart from fasttech)

My questions:
  • Are those good pre-made wicks to go with everything I have? I'll probably get crazy into buying my own kanthal/cotton stuff in the long run, but for now the pre-made wicks seem decent.
  • I like the small form factor of using an 18350 for the Nemesis, is there an online site that can ship batteries to the United States? fasttech doesn't seem able to do that. What voltage do you recommend for the batteries? I'd like to go for clouds, so if I should be using a different resistance wire setup and an appropriate battery to match please let me know.
  • What charger would you recommend for the 18350 batteries? Preferably I'd like to get one from FT as it would arrive with the rest of the bunch. Either that, or a site that accepts Paypal.
  • Does the KayFun spare parts addition make it so I can use the Kayfun tankless? Or does it come with the ability to go tankless?
  • Is there a way to get everything I have in the list from the United States without paying an arm and a leg? Would be nice to get it sooner.

Is there anything else I should be getting? Is there anything I need to know? Thanks!

1. Those pre-made wicks will probably work, but if they are really 1.8 ohm you may not have very good vapor production with a mechanical like that Nemesis you are ordering.
2. I like kidney puncher for batteries. Google them. For 1.8 ohm setups 18350s are fine. If you are looking to "go for clouds" you don't want a kayfun. The kayfun was made for flavor.
3. Any charger sold by or meant for vaping will handle an 18350. I like the Pila charger, but it is higher end. People use different chargers and everyone will have their opinion on what is best.
4. The kayfun spare parts kit doesnt make the Kayfun "tankless." The Kayfun is a tank atomizer. Those parts allow you to lose the clear plastic center piece so that it is solid stainless steel. The authentic Kayfun comes with that center tank piece. I'm not sure about the kayfake.

Watch youtube videos on kayfun builds. Read. Read. Read some more. If you are on Facebook there are several groups that are beginner friendly (trust me, there are plenty that arent).

Please read up on battery safety and build safety. If you are new to rebuilding you also want to get an "ohm reader" or a multimeter to check resistance of your builds and to check for short circuits.

What ohms should I be looking at for a good balance of vapor and flavor? I don't mind sacrificing some flavor for more clouds though as long as it doesn't taste burnt.

I'm here to learn and get this down, so I totally will!

Thanks for the responses guys!

make sure if you get a kayfun from there, it needs to be a nice one with fine threads. The others are cheap and do not have drip attachment. You will be stuck with stock drip tip. Hcigar makes a good clone. If you don't understand, I can post pics of both. If you buy a clone, get the best one you can. Cheap ones can rust and simply aren't worth saving 15$ when you can get a quality clone that will last.
