I don't know if I posted this for you yet

Comparison of the two most recommended starting units - 510 and KR808D-1 (KR8 also sold in colors by Vapor4Life and Bloogplanet)
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...st-electronic-cigarette-first-time-vaper.html

And if you need long 6-8 hour battery charge then look at the fat battery versions Ego or Riva 510, or for the KR8 CigEasy's Elegant Easy

BTW Vapor4Life still having a 30% off orders of $60 or more with code SuperSale30

Inferno's not bad to start with...

I gave my brother an Inferno and he knows nothing about vaping...he picked it up real quick...small learning curve and he has not had an analog since.

I will be sending him a vapemate and tank system to make his vaping more pleasurable...

Look into the Inferno-T...Volcano has good pricing on them and if you buy from them, make sure you use your 10% off discount for first purchase.

I have to echo a lot of the thoughts here. When I first started, I wanted (or thought I wanted) an ecig that looked and felt like the real thing. After a couple of weeks went by, I realized that what mattered most was the experience. So I would recommend a Riva from Liberty Flights - at $29.99 you can't go wrong. Better yet, the Riva Special Edition will give you a true, consistent 3.7v vape. Add some low resistance atties to the mix and you'll be set.

My parents swear by their Totally Wicked PV's. I am new to this too and probably just as confused as you. My mom has the Titan and my dad has the Tornado. They love them. The battery life is good. My hubby and i ordered the Titans and i can't wait to get them. Totally Wicked's juices are pretty expensive so we ordered our juices from Tasty Vapor and Kick Bass. The starter kits are pretty good. Our two Titans were only $47 with a 20% off coupon- NY2011. Good luck!

Hi Btrfly7. Welcome to the Ecf forums. I started with a Kr808D-1 because it is close to the size of a regular cig. But soon I got tired of always having to charge the batteries so I got a Joye eGo and I love it. I use Boge 2 ohm cartomizers with it. A cartomizer is one piece that includes the atomizer and the juice cart. I fill it with juice myself which is much better than buying pre-filled cartomizers because I can get a lot more juice in there and top it off whenever I need to. Now with the eGo I can go all day and into the evening before I need to recharge the bat. I have two bats so I never run out.

For juice I can recommend Velvet Vapers, Freedom Smoke USA and Liberty-Flights. Also Backwoods Brew and Kick Bass Vapor both have excellent reputations for great e-juice.

I got my Kr808D-1 from CigEasy and I got my Joye eGO (bought two) from Liberty-Flights USA so I can recommend them both.

Good luck:vapor:

Liberty flights is the place to go. I went with the Riva 510 starter kit, and I know a few people that got Egos from Liberty and love them. Got all my hardware for 40 bucks, and then spent another 20 on liquid and extras. The Riva produces good vapor and lasts a full day on each battery. Make sure you click the 20% discount ad on liberty flights before you order.

This is my advise and no way saying all that has been said is not a good suggestion. If I were to have it to do all over again here is what I recommend. ecigexpress.com. 1. Get a Joy eGO mega starter kit. Has 2 900mah batteries and charger. Other items I do not use anymore. Except the attys. 2. Get a extra box of 5 attys510's. Derin(sp) drip tip. I would suggest the mega cartomizers but now the tanks are avail I will be using those. Juices are very good, taste is subject to your taste. Alot of suppliers are avail to try. Get small bottles in the nic level you want to experiment with. Til they have the tank you will need to source these out. Got mine from TW along with the cone attys. You have your batteries, attys, drip tip for fast vape and good TH, I use this for trying new juices and when I have the time to drip. The cartridges are ok but I went thru the foam phase, and now have access to the tank. Tried the mega cartomizers, and still do but will be replacing with the tank. I have tried the auto batteries in a more look like a cig or analog, but battery life is less than I like. You could get parts and build a starter kit but cost is less if purchased in a kit to start out with. Bought seperatly is more costly.
I now order an extra battery when I buy juice and up to 6 so I will never be with out. Throw in a couple extra attys 510's just to have. I hope this helps, I wish I had found this forum before I spent all the money I did learning what works for me. I hope the ego tank is as good as I have read about and the cone attys are too. Now that I have plenty of batteries in a power I like as well as size it will be my way to vape til something better comes along, as in a better juice delivery system. Good luck and welcome. Oh one thing else, I shopped around before I settled on ecigexpress, and they are as a complete sourse as alot of others but found to be the best priced, not on everything but for shipping and overall cost per item equally priced.

I also started with V2 cigs. Their flavors are the absolute worst of any of those I've tried. If you're not interested in filling your own cartomizers, I'd recommend sampling V4L prefilled cartos. They have a large selection of flavors & all of them that I've tried (admittedly, just over a handful since I do fill my my own cartos & usually buy bottles) are waaaaaaaaaay better than V2.

I love my 808's it is a cartomizer and a battery, just screw it on and vape. I got mine from V2, but they have serious issues getting things to you, so very unreliable. I have heard Bloog is AWESOME but I haven't tried them yet and I am waiting on my V4L to show up tomorrow.

Prefilled are more expencive, but less time consuming than juice. I personally prefer prefilled because you have to clean the carts and do something with a turkey baster (yeah, they lost me right there). Prefilled are great for beginers. I would start there and work my way up to fluid.

I am not personally fond of the V2 Vanillia or Chocolate (V2 is the only one I have tried in those flavors) But, let me just say that when I am really NEEDING a cigarette, I need a tobacco flavor. I get all jittery because I want a smoke and I am sucking on a fruit loop, so keep that in mind when ordering flavors, that you might just need a good old tobacco or menthol (depending on what you smoked) to keep you going!

I spent too much time looking and researching. Decided to buy from Vicki at cignot. I use the 510 ego kit with 2 batteries, 2 atomizers - it's a kit thing with 2 in it. I upgraded the batteries and probably did not have to (only $4) - lasts all day new.
I love this.
My son bought me a "health e-cigarette" - very inconsistent draws, I knew from this that I could quit using vaping, but not this brand.

Get the ego 510 kit with 2 in it plus some juice.

Congrats!

I see it over and over again, but I'd like to add my praise to the mix for the Ego. I first bought a Joye 510 kit and quickly got frustrated with the batteries. I was rotating them out 3-4 a day. It's ridiculous.

I decided to try out the Joye Ego kit and haven't had an analog since the day I got it!

My setup:
2x Joye Ego 650ma batteries
2x LR 510 attys
2x Ego cones
1x derlin drip tip

A battery lasts me all day. 3 drops of my RY4 juice and I'm off and vaping. No refilling carts. No dealing with cartos. Just the drip tip. When the vapor starts to run low, I'm done. 3 drops is about the same as a single analog for me... it's perfect!

If your budget permits, get the larger batteries. Bear in mind, my 650's run all day each. I vape as soon as I get up and stop just before I go to bed.

I vote for Joyce Ego Kit as i am using it for a month now...I really enjoy vaping it...I love it with my RY4, Virginia, Blast and Casablanca juice...Same here the battery last for a day...
