I think it's good to try some purified snus. I've been using it for the past two years but not as an all day thing. I often used it first thing in the morning to get my nicotine level up quickly. I would get up, pop in a purified, take a shower, and by the time I was dried off and ready for breakfast I was good to go as it is fast acting.
I only have a few cans left and there going slow. I don't plan on ordering anymore as I find I've now adjusted enough where I don't need the purified. I am glad I had it when I first quit smoking but after a few years of snus use it's just no longer necessary for myself. I never had the boost but then I'm not a coffee drinker. The only kind I really like is citrus/menthol. I not a licorice fan but that's an individual thing.
As far as your upset stomach, my first thought is to go with some minis until you adjust a bit more. I did go
through some adjustments when I started using snus. I would get that kind of lump in my
throat thing that I believe you have mentioned. It got better the longer I used snus and now it never happens. Something simple you can do to help is have some fluids on hand and take sips while you're snusing. That can go a long way to relieving any problems that might come up. Water works fine.
