Agreed. You all are awesome.

Order is placed. Added springs, o rings, and magnets. Removed the RM2 because sloth is awesome :)

Which batteries do you all use? Good place to get them plus a charger?

I prefer the AW 18650 2200mAh

And the recommendation on the xtar VP4 or VP1 is a good one. Make sure to get some battery cases too. They have zippered ones, or the XTAR plastic cases are good.

RTD is the place.....

The "NEW' IMR 18650's are the way to go unless you wish to go with low sub ohm's. ( which I doubt)

If you wish to PM me your addy, I have an almost new Nitecore i2 I'd be more than happy to pass on to you.

See......and more love!! that's awesome!!

Indeed I am :D Now the waiting game begins.

My mailman is going to hate me even more now. I will have 5 packages for him to deliver, and he has to walk up 3 flights of steps to get them to me. He's already irritated with my, um, not infrequent NT orders. Oh well :p

he won't have to with this, you'll likely be sittin at the mailbox from midnight on lol Oh wait......that's me

It's a gift. . . and right back attcha.

Since the question of batteries is up, can I use a larger MAH than 650? And what the difference between an AW 14500 650 battery and a AW 14500 750 protected battery? I have a mini..

18650 is the size of the battery. Not sure about the rest but an 18500 battery is smaller.....I think? I'm typing in the dark so hubby can sleep in...lol. I've only ever used 18650 batteries in different mah levels for my Reos and Dibis and my Stingray. :)

I think you can get different mah's in 18500 batts but haven't ever looked for them so not sure. There is a whole bunch of other stuff to think about besides the mah rating....Someone has a chart somewhere that shows the discharge rate of certain batteries. Some drop off fast from freshly charged and run at lower levels for the rest of their charge. Some run longer at higher levels then drop off suddenly near the end of their charge.

Megan, in this mini I can only use the 14500. The others are too big for it. I'm trying to find a battery that's the right size but will last longer. You know like when we first started with Evods and you could get a 650mah, then a 1100mah and so on. It seems with 14500's 750 mah is all I can find. :(

Hopefully someone with more experience with the minis can help. I know that folks with minis keep batteries on them to switch out during the day....

14500's are double A batteries. I don't think those are what you want...

The mini uses 18490 or 18500.

Not stupid, just trying to use a new language. :)

One that I'm not very familiar with and should just shut up about until I do! Lol

Meanwhile back at the ranch...I'm looking for a battery for a mini that will last longer than a couple of hours. Suggestions please?

No, that's how you learn! :)

And maybe on the Reo sub there will be better information?

Hopefully it's a Mini 2.1 - those DO use 18490 or 18500, and the only one's I know are the AW.
I once got I think an EFest that supposedly had higher MAH, but it didn't actually run longer...

BUT - the ORIGINAL Mini did indeed use 14500 batteries!

Oops! Thanks for clarifying my mistake Penguiness! I ordered the batteries that Rob recommended and they are the 18490. I'm so stupid at times! Lol

Thanks Train! It's a 2.0 as far as I know. Came to Lynn new from Rob a few months back. Great help! :thumb:

I knew I had seen that somewhere! Lol I'm using the 18490 batteries in it. I'm wondering if I can use the protected 18500 1500mah batteries in it.

I'll ask over there! Sorry for hijacking this thread, :(
