I had read that the vids werent tuts so i didnt watch them since my net is super slow right now. I will take the time to watch them now since you suggested it.
I am very new to modding and electronics in general so i dont really understand how to use a breadboard or any of that stuff yet I've made so far My version of the Nico Stick but i call it the "lightbox" cause i made the box light up purple from inside. Then i moved on to a ghetto version of the PUCK which i just call the "Ghetto Box" Cause i only had one box to work with, not two. So i had to cut out most of the "extras" due to a lack of room. It's pretty much the atty connected directly to the master on off switch with no push button switch or LED at all lol.
It works great tho on 4 tripple A nihm rechargables
but i accidentally left it on once and the box got super melted and i killed an atty lol. So i think using the master on off switch while good for EMERGENCIES is really probably NOT the way to go. :grins:
I tried to make a flash light mod, but u=i seriously have trouble with soldering the peices onto the existing board. My boards seemed like the metal was flaking off and I dont have a Multi-Meter so i was worried i was gonna short something out. So while i have 4 flash light tubes with holes in them and ready to mod... i have been unsuccessful on that front thus far. Truth is, i really like the feel of a Tube mod in my hand far better then a box mod. so i have been wishing for a GOOD easy design but so far havent found one i feel confident in building until i saw YOUR design which is so clean, simple and apparently effective. My favorite vaping voltage is 4.8-5.1 volts or so. So your mod seems PERFECT, and simple, and like i might actually be ABLE to do it.
So any like full tutorial would be super helpful, since i'm such a newbie with electronics, but if you dont have time i understand. Thanks for the great design, i AM going to attempt to make it. When i get it done, i'll take pictures and post em here. It may be a while but i will eventually make onna these
