what is a good affordable, accurate, reliable multimeter to buy without breaking the bank?

Ok just got tried out some cheap ones ( less then $70) at a shop @ SL. The resistance on them all seem to anyhow jump from 0 - 200 Cannot even measure any ohm at all? Only the Fluke one very stable but expensive.

Is this this how it is like? Cheap = cannot measure resistance properly ?

Maybe you never measure properly,I get from my grandpa his don't know how many years old multimeter,still measure very well.

I was only measuring internal resistance of the meters but they jumped so wildly. The Fluke never had this problem?

Maybe the metal pole not clean.
