Hello, everyone. My vanity is compelling me to introduce myself. So here it goes. My name's Thom. I've been vaping on (I know this is frowned upon) an l88b for a bit over 2 months now & couldn't be more pleased. I'm somewhat active on the forum hosted by the company that I've been ordering from. But in my search for a better vaping experience, all of the videos I watch on youtube by Scott (igetcha69) has led me here. I've been a lurker on this site for a while now but I finally decided to join up with you all, here.

My first question is actually a modders question. I have a battery that's totally crapped out on me - this I know - it's done for. I guess I was wondering; if I decided to take the bad boy apart & try to make something useful of it again, what my chances were of blowing my face off. Likewise, if anyone knows of a way, or could be bit of a guide, I'd much appreciate it. Thanks for reading.

Hello & Welcome Thom,

Specifically, to answer your question, I would say your chances would be somewhat less than getting electrocuted if you took the cover off one of the duplex outlets in your abode and stuck your finger inside without clicking off the breaker in the service panel first.

OK, that's out of the way now. So . . . what useful thing would you like to make? For some ideas and suggestions (as well as exactly how to dissect a battery tube) there is a great forum here: Modders Forum - E-Cigarette Forum

Look around; maybe search for "NicoStick" as a start. "Battery mod" would also be good. The Sticky "Laser Pointer Mod" is also good.

I'm new here myself; I think you will have a great time here. You won't believe how much useful information you'll find here.

I use a couple NicoSticks and Wall Wart Mods. My opinion, they totally outclass e cig battery setups.
