Protank 2 is very common. I like mine.

miniprotank2.
The miniprotank base is ego threaded like the iclear16 is.

The base can also fit on the protank.

Other than the kangers, there's the Aspire series tanks.

kanger and aspire both recently brought out tanks with airflow control builtin to the design;
the kanger aerotank
the aspire nautilaus

theres also a new iclear glass tank; the x.1

there's the smoktech aro.
there's a glass evod.
there's the anyvape davide.

... as I took a vape off of a mini protank on an Ego twist.... Yea, I reccommend This.... (then I take another vape).

Seriuosly, I have gotten way more expensive atomizers. When I first tried the mini protank, I was in shock and awe over the flavor that little thing produces. Put it this way, I've been making my own coils in RBA's, tricking out my coils, trying different wicks, different wires, just doing all sorts of things to get the best possible vape. Then I bought a mini protank expecting it to be a weak substitution, but more portable than what I had... first vape and I was like "this is better than anything I've setup so far" Now, I'm coiling the wick to try to reproduce the flavor from the mini protank.... go figure.

i would suggest an aerotank $23. the price has dropped on all kanger tanks. recently i bought an original protank $13(nice curves) and added an aerotank base $5. got a base for the ptII as well. now we are well ventilated and post leakage to the battery is a thing of the past. the aero is dual coil and not worth the time to rebuild dually. i came up with a rectangular coil that uses the extra height of the head. tastes better and vapes as well as stock replacement. one of the best tools in my rebuilders tool box is a 2 1/4" swiss army knife. the tweezers are handy and small. i use the toothpick for the rectangular shape i mentioned. the scissors are sharp and perfect for trimming wicks closly. the knife blade helps space wraps or adjust builds.
i don't have a mini pt and will need to check it out. do know i don't prefer the evod and aro II style with the slot window. too hard for old eyes to fill. the aro holds only 1.8ml slam full. has an airy draw and uses the same coil as kanger.
