Good God, Welcome to the space age.

I started researching this whole concept a week ago. Since then I have made and received my first order. All went very smooth, I love companies that treat their customers like family. I got plenty of freebies, always nice.

However, I WAY over estimated the Nic levels. I got all 24mg in my order, gonna have to reorder on Monday. I even got some parliament 36's, almost went vertigo after 2 puffs. Kinda sad cause I have to wait till I get new carts and some bottles of 0mg. So I am still finishing off my American Spirits. So can't wait to get rid of those. I can't take more than a few puffs of the e-cig without the dizzy vibe. That doesn't solve the psychological part of smoking for me.

Well, I do have to say I like how fast this forum moves and the people seem friendly enough. Good to know I can get advice and such with promptness here.

BTW, I'm gonna need a ton of cards from them. I am a DJ and I must have had 2 dozen people ask me about the Vapor King tonight.

Love and Music,

The Witch Dr.

Hey Witch Dr, you can also run to a craft store etc and buy a bottle of Vegetable Glycerine, you can use this to dilute your nic mgs until you can get your new order in hand. I've used it plenty for that reason too, it will dilute your flavors a bit and can add a touch more sweetness but it works well and makes tons of vapor!

Good luck and welcome to vaping, I was smoking my last analog and watching for the mail man to come over 6 weeks ago. Haven't touched tobacco since! I bet you'll succeed also.

I was going to mention the VG to dilute the mg despite the flavor dilution but I was beaten to it... twice. :D

If you don't mind less flavor though, it could be a good way yo keep your costs down (buy 36mg bottle and dilute with VG).

It is funny how different people are. Despite never being a heavy smoker, I can't vape anything less than 36mg. When I tried less than 36mg I found that I was vaping constantly all day just to feel like it was doing anything, even 24s and 18s were took weak. The 36s are perfect and I never feel light headed, my throat doesn't hurt, and I can actually put down the e-cig for hours at a time and not even think about vaping/smoking. I suspect that I was more addicted to something else in those analogs besides nicotine.

Big welcome, WitchDr! Good suggestion -- I know Mark has done that before. So you can probably get something else to get you started a lot faster since you're there in Chicago.

It's strange about the nic levels, but we're all different. I started with 18 and it clearly wasn't enough for me. I was in vaping heaven once I got the 24 and 36mg.

We have a swap thread here if you want to trade out the ones you can't use. It's a sticky at the top of this board.

Again, welcome, and congrats for trying to give up the analogs.

I second that. I added some to some high nic juice, Cappuccino and it turned out great, TONS of vapor and it really didn't affect the flavor all that much, I added like 20 percent VG to it. Nice vape for sure. I'm going to be adding it to some of my 36 mg cartos to mellow them out.

Thank you all for the many responses. "gee" I will try that VG tip. However, does mixing PG with VG clash in any way?

I've seen many suppliers offer combination vg/pg juices so I'd guess they do not clash in any way. I've read vg gives better vapor but less flavor/throat hit so people combine the two to try and get the best of both worlds.

Not that I know of. I was poking around in the do it yourself forum for making your own ejuice and the recipes are calling for a mix of the two in many of them. The only reason I didn't mix vg and pg in my juice was my pg hasn't come in yet, it's on the way. So I just used vg that I had on hand.

It really depends on your tastes. Some people don't like the 'flavor' that VG adds. It does change the way the vapor feels in your mouth and throat. Honestly though, I love it, and mixing a bit in yourself will let you dial in that level to what fits you best.

Hi, WitchDr - I'm new too. I did the same thing you did - aimed too high for fear it would not be enough and I SO want this to work for me, so I'm going to the store this pm after work and get the vegetable glycerin and see if I can make this work. With this being a holiday week I was fretting that it will be the following week before my next order arrives with the lower nic levels and I just can hardly wait.....the 36's that I have make me cough, cough....I'm really unsure about how to add anything, but I'm going to give it a shot.

Wow this forum just keeps moving. I kinda like all the new posts especially since I've been bored with TV lately. Lol.

Well I'm getting used to the 24mg's but still stop at like 5 puffs. I got some VG, but failed to get something to mix it in. So it's back to the store. Gotta love short term memory loss sometimes.

As far as taste, like most of you guys. It's just not there yet. My senses are all messed up from smoking. So it'll be a week or two before I get that benefit back. I remember when I quit for 7 weeks, the food taste was SO MUCH better. I can't wait to get that back again.
