I've been trying to go LR since forever, never could though because the throat hit just wasn't there. I wrapped .9 ohms before but they burned up quickly.

After watching your last video, on a whim, I twisted two 34GA Kanthal wires tightly together, very tightly wound then measured out .8 ohms and twisted some tight silver ends. Eyeballing it was about 7/8" long in resistance. The dual wires gave me 5 tight wraps on 3mm wick and measured out .9 on the Ody with a soaked wick.

i dropped this in my Ody drip with a single 16340 fresh at 4.2v and it nearly knocked me over. I vaped this for well over an hour non-stop and it was still at 3.6v. That was 30 solid hits and 10 ok ones. I don't know why I've never twisted 2 resistance wires together before but I'm a believer now. Never saw that before your video

Thanks Torq, I will have to try that out. I have seen other videos of twisting the res wires together like that. But never tried it.

Glad you like it torque. if I may suggest try it twist 34 and 36 gauge Resistance wire together that way it will give you a longer length and more loops for the same ohms. it will give you even more a vape.

Also you can try the highlander coils for dual coils.

sometimes if i dont feel the heat what i do is unscrew a bit the telescope and the base of ody and screw it back then fire it up again and it works like a charm. I enjoy the vape at 4.2-4.0 volts once its lower you can feel the difference how the vape is there but the heat is a little washed down.

Cool, thanks, I have plenty of both. I rechecked my notes and I got 20 good hits, not 30. The next ten were like comparing a Red to an Ultralight. 20 good hits off a 16340 is enough for a few quick toots on a long plane ride. If that were legal of course, which its not and of which I have plausible deniability. I never inhaled either

I find it so enjoyable at .7 ohms dual coil with 4.2 volts I wish the volts will stay at 4.2 I would be in heaven.

I too am a recent convert of twisted wire. I am locking in at .9 ohms. The heat of .8 was way too much for me.

Next up, try out some 28g kanthal! I have a 3 wrap going in a gensis atty (orion v2.1) right now at 0.6Ω and it's just destroying me, so I'm sure it'd be just as good if not better in an Ody. Ill give it a try tomorrow and tell you how it vapes

Hi Imeo, yes, it's a cut down GGTB, similar to your old Nano. I love it. I have not started working on the GGTB tubes yet. I'm hoping to find some time after October. Right now my travel schedule is crazy.

As a follow up, I've been vaping dark sweet juice in this coil and it's held up great for 3 days so far. The resistance has gone up just a bit from .9 ohms to 1.1 ohms but it's still snap crackle and popping like a MF (Manufactured Filament!)

Glad to hear it buddy. I love vaping and with folks that enjoy and love to vape. I'm always trying to find more ways to get a better experience. GG is the bomb no question.
