good idea for mini as gift?

Just wondering if its a good idea to get the mini batts for a present? I see a sticky about bad mini batts so I am worried to get them. My friend really wants to try but she doesn't want them as big as mine.

When they first came out I got one of the bad ones but Steve sent me two freebies to make up for it and both of the new ones work completely fine! I think they would be a good gift....even if there is a problem with it you know Steve/Mark will replace it no questions asked!

Love mine, just ordered two more. Just remember to use the standard plug in charger with them.
