Good idea or go for it????

So, i found a vendor who I love their Mt Dew flavor. Even at 36mg the flavor is always there. Unlike others....I have raved about, this new guy is doin something right. For some reason though his Mt Dew is clear. IDK why this bugs me so I was thinking bout adding food coloring.....Would that be harmful? Change the taste? Hurt my lungs? Basically I dont wanna make a boring green/red/blue color. I wanna make it something crazy odd just cause. Think its a bad idea or go for it?

I wouldn't recommend using any sort of food coloring...there are quite a few threads around here on this topic, I think you will get mixed opinions on it. I personally don't want to add anything that isn't necessary, but to each his/her own

Try getting a bright green Vivi Nova or bright green Splitfire. You get the best of both worlds.

food coloring is an unknown as is so much about vaping ... so use at own risk i say

If it ain't broke then don't fix it is my motto on things. The food coloring is just a thing, not really required and really dosen't matter unless you've a glass or clear tank. I personal vape on mostly clear liquids myself as coloring isn't going to make a decision either way. The taste however is the deciding factor.

As I say "I vape by taste, not by numbers" meaning that if it tastes awesome the rest is just non-revelant in reality.

One of the most popular juices around here has added food coloring, most people don't seem to mind. I prefer juices not to have unnecessary ingredients, and a lot of people feel the same way. I think you make a good choice not to add coloring.

Edit: I think the coils on our juice delivery systems prefer no coloring either. I'm not positive on that, but darker liquids sure clog up my atties faster.

Actually, interesting that you brought that up....After running tests through both a Genisis and my Phoenix RBA food coloring juices do clog up the atomizer. The real science behind it all relies on the food coloring itself, food coloring does not vaporize, it binds to your coils and burns at the operational temperatures that most atomizers run at....additionally well food flavorings as well tend to follow this rule as well but rather then bind to your coil actually morph in to different flavors.
Your welcome to try this if you like...take your favorite juice, vape it at the wattage heat your at, then crank it up 1 watt of heat at a time, you'll notice the flavor will change....a fun project at home to kill time
