OK, so when I started vaping, njoy is what they sold in the corner stores. 6 moths later I have moved on to using VMODS, eGos, and VV Mods, but have quite a few people who want to get started using a cigarette look alike with refillable cartomizers. Can someone suggest a kit that has around 280mah AUTO batteries and can use readily available cartomizers? I would like to order a couple of these kits (and maybe 10 or so extra cartomizers each kit) for friends to get them off the analogs. I know that the dse901 kits were popular a while back but cant find any really in stock online....

Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I had already tried them with the eGos, but they wanted something more along the size of a regular cigarette. I also told them that they are going to throw good money away (Like I did) since I know they will be sold on vaping, but they want a more cigarette size and feel.

They have access to all my juice, but I dont have any cigarette like kits (Never liked them myself), but want to have 1 or 2 that they can try.....

Simply because there are choices. Not everyone wants to vape what YOU want to vape. Some people, if you are ever going to get them to start, have to get through the first phase of an e-cig needing to look like the real thing. Wasn't an issue for me but some people are really hung up on this point. And I know some folks on ecf who started with 510's, quit smoking with 510's, and then quit vaping after that. Their entire learning curve never went any further than a 510 kit - and it didn't need to.

One of the best deals on a 2 battery JoyeTech kit is at Cignot for $35.00. You can pick 1 auto battery, 1 manual - any combination you want and any colors you want. It will come with 2 attys and cartridges. You can add on cartos from there but do remember that 510 batteries are not meant to be used with low resistance stuff. SR cartos only.

Cignot also carries a wide selection of DK sample size liquids in both PG and VG for building noob kits. And they wll get great customer service at Cignot too.

Hi Scott,

Smokless Image make very good ciggish size PVs - the Volt: Smokeless Image | The Best Electronic Cigarette

I can recommend the 78mm - still ciggish size but 320 mah. I have some and they last me about 2.5 hours of vaping.
They also make larger ego size batts - Volt X2s - if your friends want to upgrade later. The X2s can also be used as a passthrough.

All their batts are regulated at 3.7 volts. Smokeless Image batteries are 808 threaded. This means they are compatible with other 808 threaded products. Smokeless Image also carry a good range of their own accessories. Their cartomizers are bottom coil.
The kits are $20, the basic starter pack is $30. They have other starter packs too.

L-R: 1.Volt 78mm, 2.Volt X2 900mah, 3.Volt, X2 650mah, X2 900mah

Discount codes: 10VOLTECF for 10% off entire purchase

CompareOur808d for 15% off cartomizers only

Smokeless Image have a good reputation and are a registered ECF supplier.

Hope that helps. :) Video review by pbusardobelow also:

-A simple APV with semi-regulated voltage like the E-Power 14650 gives you great bang for the buck. Yes, the E-Power is Chinese. 3.7V, uses big-flavor, big-TH LR XL cartos, rechargeable ICR 1050 mAh battery that cost less than $4 apiece and the dang thing (in stainless steel) is pocket-sized and nearly indestructible. Low battery indicator, short circuit and overload protection and 5-click switch safety included.

-DIY liquid, by all means. It pays to learn how to DIY. It saves you big money in a very short amount of time. My DIY juice costs 13 cents per ml, and I know what's in it.

IMHO I believe the best thing to do is go get a disposable blu from walgreens or wherever. If you decided you like it, pull the trigger on something top notch. SB if you want 3.7 or provari if you want VV. I sure wish I would have just started with provari. I would have saved money by just buying it instead of an ego kit to 'try or out" then 2 twist and stardust and nova. And now buying a provari. Just start with the best and there is no need for upgrades

If battery life and battery cost was explained to them maybe more would. Not suggesting everyone wants/needs a VV, maybe a 3.7 or even an ego.

There are those who still need to try it out and get comfortable with it, I was the same way. I'll keep using the egos, might pass them out, at the very least they extend my other batteries lives.

I would never suggest someone stick to an ego, but not everyone needs or wants VV, I get the best vape for me on my iHy which is a rebuildable mechanical mod than I would on a provari, and yes I have tried a provari. So to say someone should start there I don't feel is right.

You can get KR808 kits for under $30.

http://www.myvaporstore.com/KR808D1_E_Cigarette_s/44.htm

MVS sells 5 packs of prefilled carts for 7.25 and their juices are real solid. Their RY4 is one of the best out there. Obviously they could buy blanks and use whatever juice as well.

510 would be the way to go IF they planned to move to an ego type pv. Otherwise 808s tend to have better battery life from what I hear.

Might be even cheaper 808 kits out there as well but I know MVS sells genuine and their shipping is fast. Where ever you go ... look for coupon codes to save some coin.

No need to buy a $5000 gaming computer if all you need to run is MS Word, which runs completely fine on a $300 one. Same for vaping, IMO. Sure, a Provari may perform undeniably better than a 3.7v eGo, but it's more often a question of "want" rather than "need".

If you like disposables, cool. 510s? Sure. eGos? Great. Zmax? Why not? Whatever floats your boat.

Recently I've tried a Ritchy ERA, which seems to be a great little 510 auto. The XL cartos it came with are very very decent, with an LR-like draw even though they're actually 3ohm cartos that are easy on the batteries. I believe GotVapes sells a slightly modified version called the Stallions?
