We've been back in the deep freeze the last couple days after enjoying 3 very nice Springlike days. We actually hit 50 degrees!! Haven't been to the hospital. Don't need to pass along my stupid head cold. My daughter and 20 yr. old grand daughter are holding up well. Their 22 yr. old daughter is a sweety with bad Downs Syndrome. She hasen't been to see her Dad because they're afraid they couldn't get her to leave. She loves her Dad very much.

Mornin' Fran. We had the same weather pattern just a day or so ahead of you. My wife and I got that bad cold too. Patty just went back to work this morning. I hope your head clears up soon so you can go see your SIL.

Hi Fran. Read your post above and thought that maybe one of your friends could set up a Skype Video on a laptop so your Granddaughter might be able to visit her dad that way. Might be better than her not seeing her dad, but of course that would have to be her parents call. Just an idea, thats what we do with our grand-kids and it works well.

I really do feel for your SIL and you and your family. I've had three major spine injuries and been in constant extreme pain for the last 30 years, and will be for the rest of my life, but that is far more preferrable than what your your poor SIL is facing. I hope you all have good family and friends for support.
