Good morning, ladies!

I want to say good morning & happy vaping to all!

What is your morning schedule like today?

I will start. Today, I go for my 2nd job interview in 8 years. I haven't worked since my divorce (except for a very short stint at Wally-World), and am looking very forward to getting a job in my college library today!

Does anyone here try to *not* vape first thing in the morning? I'm being easy on myself and allowing myself to vape often, as needed. So that means my answer is yes, I'm vaping first thing in the morning, as I just kicked the "analog" habit that I've had for over 25 years.

Does anyone else have a morning story to share today?

Happy vaping! :)

Good Evening! Welcome to the Women's Room Shawsow! It's lovely to meet you! How did the job thingy go? I would adore a job in a library..I am a graet lover of books. lately since my diabetes kicked in big time..I mostly listen to books on my I pod..it was tape the cassette and the CD..Once my eyes settle down to a regular script I will go back to books.

I don't do mornings..unless I abosultly have to! I get up at 11am and have my coffee and a small breakfast..then I do whatever needs doing and Mike and I decide what we want to do for the day. Most of the time it's not much so we watch a movie or a program. If it's nice I go for my walk and then start dinner. Talk about a boring life! But for the first 40 years after high school, I raised kids..worked 1 and 2 jobs, went to school and raised my husband. Wait..I mean took care of my hubby. lol He was Military and wasn't home a lot.

I would love your schedule. One of these days. By the way, I'd like to say hi to everyone. i was a pack a day smoker until a couple of weeks ago. This forum made the switch to vaping so easy. I don't know if I could have done it without everyone here. We have our own little cyber support group :)

You know I forgot to address the question! Some days I don't vape until later in the day for me that would be 5pm or so! I love the fact that I don't NEED to vape like a fiend any more..unless I just want too!
10 and 1/2 months with no analogs..I don't feel like the panic I used to get when I couldn't smoke. I can't shop all day or visit my kids and not vape. I do WANT to vape when I am in the car or at the computer though..keeps me from eatting my self into a stupor.

I never had the need to smoke first thing in the am so vaping isn't a priority either. Oddly enough, I was okay with not smoking alot throughout the day. It was the afternoon and evening when it was NEEDED! I associated it with relaxing after work.

Yes, I do vape in the am but not until I've gotten ready for work and am almost ready to head out the door. That's when I have my first hit of coffee and my throat and sinuses are all steamed up and ready for some nicotine. Then I sit at my 'puter and wake up a bit more before getting behind the wheel. Heh!

Hi everyone,
Ok, I have something I'm just bursting at the seams to share, even if it is a little after morning. Vaping has helped me so much. Both of my parents smoke and have ever since I remember. I smoked for 30 years. Recently, my mom decided to try to quit smoking again. She was using wellbutrin, patch and gum. Well, you probably know the story there, cig addiction is a tough one and she wasn't having much luck. I'd been keeping my parents updated on my progress when I started vaping and quit the analogs. They were happy for me and mom was a little interested, but it didn't sound like they were planning on ordering or anything soon. So I did it for them. I had 2 kits with some back up supplies sent to them in PA from my favorite supplier, then I picked up some juice for them from Ms. T and Johnson Creek ( I wanted tobaccoey flavor for my dad). I knew that mom would at least try it if the supplies were there and I was hoping dad would. Then I emailed them and told them what was coming with a very long and detailed instruction list since it would all be new to them; they had never even seen a PV before. Well, their kits and JC order arrived yesterday. I spent an hour on the phone with them talking them through everything and answering questions. By the time I got off. They were both vaping!!!! Mom on a prefilled cart and dad on a cart of the JC Tennesee cured. (Yep, taught them how to fill a cart on the phone). Dad even said he liked the JC, and mom has been pretty happy with the carts. I am so excited that they finally have a chance to quit analogs. I know they may not, but I think it very well may work this time. Anyway, I really had to tell someone and I knew you guys could appreciate it. So thanks for putting up with this long email and for all the help I always get when I have a question and all that wonderful stuff. I'll be checking up on them via phone to make sure they're not having any problems when I get home from work. I don't know if mom has gotten on here yet, but I sent her the link. Hope we'll see her on here soon :)

scheherezade that is excellent for your parents !!!!:)

my morning is as usual waking up to the dogs all waitting for me to move, then happy chaos breaks out when I do show any sign of life.. Lot of times I just fake that I am still alseep, just to give myself some extra time to brace for the chaos. I've learned to ignore it just too much happy and happy movement jumping around does not help me when I am still not awake. After the dogs are out, and a bit of GMA/check emails,, I get my exercise in. Today was one and a half hours of Yoga.. I've come to the conclusion my body is just normally not straigth... lol ....

have broken lots of analog habits over time, use to be I vaped as soon as I rolled out of bed, now it's when I eventually settle down after many other things are taken care of.

My Shih Tzu and I have a morning ritual of cuddling in bed with coffee and sudoku, smoking like mad (or at least burning them up in the ashtray). I have therefore switched to tea in this newbie interim, which works better vaping. Yeah, I am odd, but then again, I'm blonde. . .

What counts is if you're enjoying it! :)

When I was a smoker the first thing I did was grab a cigarette on the way to the bathroom in the morning. Now at least I wait until I an out of the bathroom before vaping. I don't drink coffee anymore and I wait a little while and drink a diet coke. I spent 25 years raising children and working full time. Now I do what I want to which is usually nothing. I still get up around 5 am (wish I could sleep later). I just sit and watch TV for a while. It makes me sick that my husband can sleep until 10 unless he is going fishing (which he does quite often). I will do some light house work and then I google different topics and read the forum.

This sounds crazy but I do miss my job which I loved but became disabled and had to quit after 25 years. I guess I should be happy with no set schedule but I'm not quiet sure even after 10 years.

Sometimes it is better if we have to get up and have plans for the day. Oh well those days are over.

Martha that's not crazy at all. We're built with the need to "have something to do". For some just having a routine is enough while others have to have their schedules packed. After retirement or disability not knowing what to do with one's self can have a huge psychological impact.
Sounds like you and the wee pup are in the "more able to adjust" camp which is good. :)
