Hi,

This is the first morning that I'm depending totally on vaping for my nicotine fix, and I've got to tell you, it's not easy. The time of day that I loved to smoke cigarettes the MOST was with my morning coffee.

Well, I have my coffee, and I have my e-cig and....it's not the same. *tears*

I'll get used to it! It's waaaaaay better than no nicotine at all. This was my last hurdle to putting down analogs for good, and I'm doing it, so HAPPY DAY!

Good luck to you. My hardest was that last one before bed. My last 2 days of smoking anything, I was only able to choke down 2 puffs off a cig before crushing it out. That third night, I looked at that cig and told myself, no, I do not want that taste in my mouth again. That was October 5, 2012.

You can do it, but if you cave, that's ok too. Give yourself credit for the ones you don't smoke. I know a few people that will always have that one cig in the morning. That's it! Just that one. It's ok, it really is. They've been doing that for a year or so. Everyone has their own way. Do what it takes for your happy place. It's harm reduction. Bottom line!

Cheers! :)

For me the toughest one was the after dinner smoke. I'd get this feeling in the back of my throat after eating almost like an itch that only a cigarette could scratch. 3 - 4 days later that was gone, but it was tough at first. Now I'm 6 days in and I don't even think about it any more. Mornings, on the other hand, have actually been easy for me. The vanilla and caramel flavors in RY4 taste WAY better with coffee than any cigarette ever did!

Congrats on your decision. It will get easier. I am a 98% full time vaper. Maybe 5 - 8 cigs per week. Usually in the morning. I don't really miss them during the day at work. Like Robino said, start counting the cigs you don't have a progress from there. Were you a heavy smoker and what nic level are you starting with?
