I've been busy the past few days rebuilding and upgrading all my computers. PCs. they stand for pieces of crap.
Someone once said they make better boat anchors

Anyway, just wanted to say hi as my message center (PMs) does not work. I can receive but not send.

Huh. You'd think a Supporting Member would deserve more consideration.
I gave up tinkering with computers some time ago - used to be quite good at it but it all seemed so futile. I came to the conclusion that any one of them were much faster than I could ever type and anything I need to preserve for posterity fits on a floppy.

Yep, I have my original 1994 floppy in one of the bays of my current (2009) HP.

I still have a working 5.25 drive around here. Plus a box of disks. Also an old 8 track car stereo that still plays. Down to about 4 tapes though

Ah ha ha ha. Yes, me too. I have 2 Teac's in my TI99/4A expansion box. Circa 1980.
