Hi all, Im new 'round these here parts, but ive been reading for a while now and have had my first reo for a year or so. Which brings me to my first post in this here reo sub forum. I really enjoy the reo's and their durability and the quality of the vape. All posts have been very informative and ive found that super x's videos have helped me fine tune my set up a bit. I have a Grande sl-lp and a mini 2.1. The grande I purchased after I had lost my mini for half a day and I was beside myself. Now I have 2 and after seeing the thread with the resin reo's I do think I will own at least three. lol
My mini took a punishing in the short time that I had lost it. It turns out that I had accidentily left 'er on a vehicle and while pulling out of the driveway it had fell onto the busy road infront of my house. It was lost for a few hours. I don't know how many times it was run over but i'd say more than once! the door was bent in a few different ways, the RM4 cap was mia. both of the negative terminals in the rm4 were missing, the air adjustment was mia. I walked the road that evening as kind of a last attempt to find it and found most of the parts except the negative terminals for the rm4. I broke off the really bent section of the door. I had to use a dremel cutting disc to open up the grooves where the door slides up and down and I made a new coil and just grounded the neg side of the coil between the rm4 base and top cap. desperate times, desperate measures right!? lol. The rm4 was just so very slightly out of round. considering the hell it went thru it faired really well and im very impressed with how durable the mod and the rm4 are!
photos of my poor mini. She used to be a right sexy copper vein. now shes a different color every few weeks but it functions every bit of good as it did when she was new
and a (crappy) photo of it now with my Grande. At some point I will order a new copper vein door and paint the mod body back in an attept to restore here to her former glory.
