I caved. Again.

I've been admiring that Chalice III for a few weeks now and I finally couldn't resist any longer. Of course, that Chalice deserves it's own Reo, so I threw in a black wrinkle/silver vein grand to screw it into, making it my Reo #2 (as predicted by a few smart alecks around here when I bought #1). And so...the wait begins.

Am I correct in assuming I should clear coat the silver vein door, or is it just the copper vein door that needs it?

Both veins need the clear coat. Though if I had the silver one I'd prob let it go since it's mostly black anyways.

yeah if you want it to stay just like it is when you get it, clear coat the door. Some folks like it when it darkens

My silver vein Grand looks fine without clear coat. Been using it for awhile now.

They are very good. He took a Chalice and changed the post so you no longer need to do Z coils, he added AFC to it also.

Got my new Reo and Chalice today, love both! Thank you Robert for the quick ship! Now I can finally take a FAMILY photo!
