so, I posted this REO decoration months ago (seems like months), and I'm happy to report that the particular paint I used has held up super well! If anyone was wanting to do some graphics, or paint a picture on their REO, they should definitely consider this stuff. It's not permanent, in fact it's easy to erase; but apparently, it'll last as long as you want it to!

Yep. Although, I happen to have a jug of Acetone closer within my reach than the wife's remover. And that seems to be about 3x as quick.

When I was playing with patterns, and the polish was fresh, I just used her stuff (less nasty). But when I removed the stuff I had painted on the door side of the REO, it had been about 3 weeks on there. The nail polish remover works . . . . but the Acetone works much mo' betta.

EDIT: FEISTY ALICE POINTED OUT: ACETONE CAN RUIN PAINTED REO FINISHES! I ONLY USED IT ON RAW ALUMINUM! PLUS, IT'S NASTY SH_T. . . . . . . . .(SHE SAID . . . . NO, REALLY). ACETONE IS HARMFUL IF INHALED, SKIN CONTACT, ETC.!!!!!!

Suuuurre, I don't believe you....;)

That's ok, I have my own nail polish too but it's black. :)

So one could do the whole RM2 in one colour with that as well?

I played with doing a larger field of paint. It's problematic. The nail polish sets up very quickly, so it doesn't "lay down" nicely. My wife had suggested that I could thin in out (say, with acetone) . . . . . so . .. . . Maybe?

DO NOT USE ACETONE ON POWDER COAT. It will harm the finish. Use only on anodized or bare aluminum.
