From the referenced article:

"An electronic cigarette, or e-cigarette, also known as an.ecig, is an electrical device that simulates the act of tobacco smoking by producing an inhaled vapor bearing the physical sensation, appearance, and often the flavor and nicotine content of inhaled tobacco smoke, without its odor or, ostensibly, its health risks. The device uses heat (or in some cases, ultrasonics) to vaporize a propylene glycol- or glycerin-based liquid solution into an aerosol mist, similar to the way a nebulizer or humidifier vaporizes solutions for inhalation."

I know that there are a couple of people here seeking for clarification from the Ministry of Health. There's a specific tariff for "tobacco extracts" or "juices". I believe it's been discussed before that the nicotine in our liquids are extracts of tobacco and could be regulated under the new tobacco control law (which is where the public smoking ban comes from). If it's ruled that the liquid is considered a tobacco extract, then vaping will most likely fall under the same regulation as other tobacco products. I'm willing to put money that liquids containing WTAs will definitely fall under this regulation.
