Mr. muldrick,sir. Are those 16340 3.0V batts protected?
I'm also looking for a charger for my 3.0V batts that doesn't put out 4.2 volts. I've been told that that's too high for the 3.0 volt batteries.
No, they are not protected.
Your charger...I don't have them, but Google "Jinglong CR2" charger. It has a piece on the bottom that comes out so the 16340 3V should fit.

Thanks muldrick. I've been using an AG 126 charger I got from madvapes and making sure I take them out after 3 hours or so. I left a pair of protected 16340s in all night once and one had a circuit board bulged out with the shrink wrap torn in the morning. Guess that must be what they do when they overcharge.
