I've been using Boges and Ressurrectors for awhile never an issue. I jut ran out but I ordered an ego battery from GP about 3 weeks ago or so and threw in a five pack of cartomizers. I tried to use two, and I filled it right all that but I never got either working. Well now I'm out of ressurrectors and I need something to get me by for the next couple of weeks so what I'm wondering is if anyone has ever gotten their cartomizers and if I'm doing something wrong, or if their just duds. I don't want to toss anymore of them if there's just something I'm missing with these guys.. Any insight?

I have had good luck with Good Prophets, including the cartomizers.
Did they work right after you screwed them in? I've heard some people have to tweak them sometime to make a certain connection, btu I've never had to. It jsut seems odd that 2 in a row were like that, I have a feeling the next one will be too

Try turning the connector part of the cartomizer (there is a slot you can insert a small screwdriver into),[...]

No. Do *not* use a screwdriver and turn that. It is not for a screwdriver. The wire (loop with a coil in the middle of one side) is soldered to that. Turning it will cause the wire to twist and touch itself to cause a short.

I see the OP has sorted it out. Lifting the center pin with a dental pick, paperclip, or similar is the thing to do.

Im confidant its the center pin needing to be pulled out a lil.... not sure about their carto's, But I can say I've ordered from alot of vendors and good prophets has provided me with some of the BEST customer service that I've received from any vendor over the last year!!! And I've dealt with a large number of the vendors on the ECF supplier list.....!

I like Good Prophets, quite a lot, actually. That said, I purchased a box of 50 of their standard cartos and am not thrilled with them. I got them for three reasons: 1. They were on sale and very cheap (80¢ each with free shipping), 2. They were slightly lower resistance (2.7-2.8 ohms) than Boge SRs at 3.0 ohms, and 3. They're a bit longer than regular Boges, although slightly shorter than XL Resurrectors or dual coils.

Why don't I love them? Only one reason, but it's a deal-breaker for me. The draw is ragged and slightly airy. By contrast, Boge and SmokTech cartos have silky smooth draws with exactly the right amount of "resistance." They're a pleasure to vape. The GP cartos are less pleasing to vape, and for me almost aggravating.
