Honestly on the coil building and not having time... once you experiment and build a couple it takes about 2-3 minutes from start to finish to build a coil. The taste is much better than stock coils and you have more control over the quality (which is very bad from some manufacturers). Alsot he cotton vs silica debate.

yeah, but the cotton doesn't last as long so rebuild is more often. Cotton will burn very easy as opposed to silica. jmho

The Evod bcc kit really is great. My wife wanted off the Blu, so I got the Evod for her. It's doesn't leak and the swap out coils are easy to change. It hits well with good flavor. The coils seem to last her a few weeks, but her usage is not what I would consider heavy. A few pulls at a time, and then she puts it away.

I see the kit on ebay for 35$, which is an excellent value.

If you want to get something to start and will last longer than a few weeks, an eGo battery and an Evod will do just fine. It was what I started with and didn't cost a fortune. I went to a local shop and talked to the salesman for a few. He steered me in that direction and I took him for his word. Best advice anyone has given me since my best friend told me to dump my first wife! I still use it today and probably will until it dies. If it works, why change? JMPP! :headbang:

This might be a dumb question, but when you say "will last longer than a few weeks," what exactly are you referring to?

Do coils need to be replaced often? I definitely do not plan on building anything myself.

a coil will last you between a day an a few weeks.

You can put them to soak in hot water or alcohol or vinegar to clean, then reuse.

So far over the last 3 months I have not lost any coils from usage only from fiddling with them. They can burn out if you fire them dry.
I have about 15 coils at the moment; currently working 5 and I got 10 spares still in the original boxes. If it were cheap enough I'd change a coil every day because they seem to leak for me after a day.

The atomizer might work for a few weeks before it becomes too gunked up with stuff and needs cleaning or changing.

Once you have your EVODs and are happy, you might want to look out for a couple mini protank 2's. Pyrex glass, and they use the same atomizers as the EVODs.
