Ran across this switch. Would this make a good switch for a nicostick? I've been wanting to make one with a flush switch. That would eliminate accidental activation in a purse or pocket. This would be a good one too!
It's very close to an inch deep(inside the box). Make sure you have the room for it. You could also add a slide switch(master switch). Most battery boxes have them built in already.
Actually it can still be activated in a purse or pocket unless the main kill switch is turned off.
I`ll just toss this out there as well for a mostly flat switch. Have them but haven`t used them yet. They seem alright. You would have to bend the post out on these to fit them in a box mod. And I would still like a flatter switch actually.

Here's one that won't fire in your pocket/purse. Just slide the paperclip out when you go to use it, put it back when you put it up. I used a very small drill bit & made a hole as close to the body of the switch as I could.

Now there is something very simple I would have never thought of for that switch. I like this idea Sci. As the matter of fact I think they should come that way now.

Okay.... that does it..... there is now officialy a "Sci Links" folder in my favorites for all the great website links that Sci posts! There are even magnets there!
I didn't see one @ MV, but here's one in the US. Costs more than the ones Connman posted, $3.95 each. I think that this is the same one that the OP posted, just $.03 cheaper. This one doesn't give exact specs, but I'd think about 1" deep. It has screw clamps for the wires & is rated 4A @ 125Vac.
Click the pic for the link.
From my experience, keep this in mind when choosing a push button switch... Make sure it handles 3-5amps @ 125v. This way it will last longer since your batteries are not pushing the max each time you press it.
