Does anyone know of a good tobacco juice at 36mg? I use the juul at the moment and love it, but it is really expensive. I was an eroll user before and have tried black note in it, but it is just not as satisfying as the juul. I am looking for a good premium high nic tobacco flavor to save money. I don't mind paying for good juice, but in the eroll I need a good nic punch.

in the eroll I need a good nic punch.

I was using the eRoll for about a year with 36 mg juices, but was frustrated that so many juice vendors top out at 24 mg with flavors that I wanted to try ... :(

Finally switched to the Ovale Elips, still a great stealth vape that can be concealed in the hand, and uses the same Type A atomizer, with double the tank capacity of the eRoll. Its a bit pricey, when you include the PCC, but delivers a very satisfying warm vape with 24 mg juices ...

The Elips lasts a lot longer than the eRoll between charges, and the PCC is convenient to carry, its about the size and shape of a small stick deodorant. At its best, fully charged with a full tank and a clean atomizer, its a very satisfying warm vape, not airy at all like the eCab was ...

Performance does drop off sharply when the 1 ml tank is nearly empty, and there is an annoying tendency for the unit to "sweat" condensation at the joint between the battery case and the mouthpiece. Replacing the o-ring regularly minimizes this problem ...

The Type A atomizers can be dry burned and re-wicked with stainless steel, lots of good directions for this on the eRoll forum, and the genuine Joytech attys can last for over a year. The battery is good for about a year of daily use, and works as a pass-thru while charging ...

I like the Elips so much that I have 6 of them in rotation, with four in use at home, and two always ready at the door for running errands ...

The Elips is not perfect, but its the best stealth vape unit I've found so far, can be completely concealed in an average sized hand, and looks enough like a Stabilo Boss highlighter to fool a casual observer. In over two years of use, I have never had anyone even comment on it. And this is in Southern California, where people are quick to be alarmed by anything unfamiliar, especially if it "looks like smoking" ...

Watch the Ovale website, they occasionally have the starter kit for half price, and the Joytech atomizers can be found at discount prices since they're used in several different models ...

With the Elips, there are more places for air to leak in than with the eRoll, so its possible to have problems with the draw ...

But if the mouthpiece is a tight fit on the o-ring, and the atomizer lock fits well onto the battery case, its a nearly airtight unit. Sometimes I get an atomizer that seems to draw too much air, but those have been cheap clone attys that I tried and discarded ...

Between the eRoll and Elips, its a trade-off between more complexity for better performance, while still maintaining a very compact package that is easily concealed in the hand ...

Until the next generation of battery technology becomes available, I think this is about as good as it gets for an ultra-mini PV ...

Try Gold Leaf and or Red Mountain. 24 mg is the highest listed but they will do 36 mg if desired.

Yeah no kidding. I loved the eroll, but I think I am going to like the elips even better. More people need to give the elips-c a try if they want a small vape. I know the original had a lot of bad reviews, but so far as long as everything holds up, I think I have found the perfect device for me.

Shoot me a PM if you have any problems or concerns. I've been using the Elips for over two years, and have made every possible mistake, and learned from them ...

I've got my daily maintenance routine down to about 15 minutes a day for 6 units, with two PCCs, one always fully charged ready for travel ...

Replacing the slilca wicks with stainless steel in the Type A atomizers make a HUGE difference in performance and durability ...

Oh geez, more hardware talk in a juice thread, shame on me ...

Do you prefer the regular resistance or LR attys for the elips? My wife had the standard for her eroll. I could never tell the difference in the eroll. Being that black note is an NET..I hope they do ok with it. I have heard that black note doesn't cause many problems on atomizers. I always used halo in the eroll. Hoping black note does as well with the atomizers

I've used some 50-50 PG/VG juices in the Type A attys re-wicked with stainless steel, and no clogs or dry hits ...

I think the LR atomizers don't last nearly as long, the coil will overheat easily and melt one of the terminals, if you energize it for more than a few seconds ... :(

I wish I had known about NETs when I first started vaping, but I got by on 48mg juices for the first month, then 36 mg, then down to 24 mg, where I've stayed for over two years now ... :2cool:

I wonder if the mods will start an Elips forum now that there's two potential members ?

You could buy some 100mg/ml nicotine base and bump whatever juice you buy to whatever Nic mg level you wanted.

Pretty easy to do; about 1ml (.93g) of 100mg/ml nicotine base = 6mg of Nic per 15ml of juice.

I used to do it all the time to store bought juice before I went full bore DIY. Reason being, I wanted to make sure the quality of the nicotine was to my standards and not whatever nicotine some company wanted to put in their juice.

I read this three times, by the third read I was sold ...

Not ready for full DIY yet, and I really like Halo juices, but want to vary the nic strength. Lower at home where I can chain vape, higher in public when I stealth vape ... :sneaky:

I'd like to split a 30ml bottle of 0 nic juice, half to 18mg, the other half to 24 mg, or maybe even some "in-between" strengths ...

Thanks for suggesting a great transitional technique on the way to DIY ... :D
