Hi,

I'm looking for a good tobacco flavoured e-liquid for use in an e-pipe for my Dad. I've just posted about this in another thread. (looking for a good e-pipe not liquid) And I was wondering if anyone has any idea of a good e-liquid for e-pipes. My dad smokes Condor mild ready rubbed or St Bruno tobacco so I need something reasonably similar to that in order for him to give it a go - he's in his 60's and has been smoking a pipe for 30 yrs. I don't know if he would give it a real go but he's willing to try new things and if I can get him vaping then that would be cool as i'm getting my mum round to using a pen mod too. Mum is easier to convince than dad as he needs the pipe feel in his hand.

Thanks for any advise

check out MVJ and Net.com.

Net.com does not divulge the tobacco brands used in their macerations, but they do tell you what type of tobacco is used for each liquid. MVJ macerates commercially available tobacco brands, but not sure if they carry the specific brands your dad uses.

I second Mazinny's NET com recommendation. Many excellent pipe flavors there and expertly made. I think your Dad would have fun shopping on that website. While the vape world has not done a good job of finding a good cigarette vape, this is not true with pipe and cigar. They do a much better job hitting targets with pipe and cigar.

I was an avid pipe smoker (40+ years) who also enjoyed cigarettes. What brought me into vaping was NETs (Naturally Extracted Tobacco) and more specifically hybrid-NETs which are flavored with vanilla, caramel, fruit and other secondary flavorings just like many of my favorite pipe tobacco blends were. NETs are notoriously gunky and so require a high level of coil/wick maintenance but there's really nothing else that provides this level of true tobacco flavor. Unfortunately, due to high wick/coil maintenance, NETs are better suited for RBAs. Use of RBAs requires knowledge and skill, not the best choice for a beginner.

Here's a site for e-pipes:

Pipes

Not cheap, but very nice pipe mods.

As far as the ejuice goes, knowing what I know of St. Bruno and Condor, you will be hard pressed to find a juice which compares to either one of those tobaccos; however, when your looking around, something slightly floral and possesses dark fruit notes is the key; a dark fire cured Virginia might be good for starters.

NETs are going to get him as close as he can get to the real deal, but it does come with some maintenance on the coil front!

If he ever wants to start doing DIY mixing, I can lead him to some awesome concentrates which mimic pipe tobacco.

Good luck!
