Goodbye Analog Hello E Cig

well I have been looking to buy an E cig for a about a month now and had my mind set on the blu E cig starter pack. but a friend of a friend suggested vapor 4 life. There looks to be good things for both and im not sure if im going to like the cost of the atomizer inside the carts. what sold me was that this guy that I don't know, is going to send me $50 of E liquids. He loves his vapor king so much that he would do this so I can enjoy the same. Only wish there was a 2 battery starter kit but I'm going to start with the Vapor King Shorty Mini PCC Kit. Its all I can afford for now. but I'm so excited its not funny.

Puresmoker.com has the dual Joye eGo kit at $49.99. Best price I've seen. I highly recommend it

Congrats! There are so many choices out there as far as e-cigs that I'm sure as you get to doing more research you'll find a lot more information. Good luck, and enjoy the start of your analog-free life! My personal recommendation would be to check out Drew and the gang at Nhaler Welcome to NHaler! and see what they have to offer. I have a few devices from them. The Xhaler, the XShaler, and the GreenCig G400. I also have their Drewbacco1 and their Grape Ape high voltage liquids. I'm at about a year analog-free and I couldn't be happier. I've tried everyone from Janty, to Totally Wicked and so far I'm happiest with Nhaler's products, service, and liquids. Just my personal opinion.

Enjoy and welcome!

Both NHaler and V4L do 2-battery starter kits. The NHaler equivalent of the V4L VaporKing is in their KR808D-1 area.

A kit that has a PCC vs. one with just a case is pretty close, except the PCC has a built-in battery that can do 4 cig battery recharges before it needs to get its own recharge.

I've been really happy with my NHaler kit, and the V4L one for a friend has worked well, too.

Good luck!

Thanks guys.. Happy to see this forum is highly active I have been reading all morning. my only wish is that I could order it today and have it overnighted LOL. I'm regretting every cigarette I smoke till mine gets to me. Ordering this weekend had to trade my dell mini to my buddy for him to order it for me. so hope I see it before the end of next week

Hey vivid. The Vapor King is a kr808D-1 I believe. It's a little over priced. You can get the same ecig without the brand name with 2 batteries for for $39.95 from these guys KR808D-1 2 piece e-Cigarette
It says on their site that "THIS IS NOT A VAPOR KING ECIG" but it's the same model probably made in the same Chinese factory.

They are out of stock on them, and he wants it quick mistinthewoods. Vapor for Lifr offers overnight shipping, but it is almost $27.00, so you better REALLY want it NOW, and make a big order to make it worthwhile.

One of the big things I know I'm going to need is a PCC or portable charging case and that is included in the price. I am out alot and it will be nice to charge the battery when its in my pocket. plus ill be getting free cartomizers and e-liquid. This is where I'm going to start I just hope I don't got so into this that I spend more money then i would smoking. BTW I live in Upstate NY and cigarettes here are now $10 a pack.

The Vapor King is the Kr808D-1, which is the model I have. It blows the Blu out of the water. ;)

It's also one of the highly recommended starter e-cigs, so good call!

After the price of juice is accounted for, you're probably getting a really good deal. But I'd recommend that you buy an extra battery. You really need to have a minimum of two. I know it's can be expensive... but what are you gunna do when that battery is dead and needs charging for a couple hours?

Anyway, welcome to ECF! Best of luck, sounds like you're off to a good start.

If I Could I would ill have to suffer till I can make a few bucks just started this new job (Medical billing) Ez work but I only have one doc atm so at most I make 60 a week. hopefully have 6 more docs starting soon and then I should have no worries.

I totally understand what you mean. Sometimes the budget just can't be pulled any further.

Well, at the 10 bucks a pack you'll be saving, I'm sure it'll start building back up again pretty quick. :) In the mean time, I'd just put your battery in the PCC every hour or so to top it up, then. Li-ion batteries don't really have memory, so it should be ok.

Good luck!

OK. try this one. It's on sale and has a PCC for 35 bucks.

I'm from Upstate NY also (CNY, Utica.) I got my vape a month before the new analog tax hit... best decision ever! I still have friends who smoke analog, and they go to the casino to buy cartons tax-free... at least until September when they start charging tax to everyone who doesn't live on the reservation.

Also, if you're ordering from V4L, from experience my regular batteries have a lot longer charge than my shorties.

We live in NY -- what're the odds of the state actually collecting the tax? On the other hand, I'd expect the res will raise the price, so they're still cheaper than NY retail but they pocket an extra $16/carton profit.

The new tax is what got me to switch -- e-cigarettes mentioned in the forum on an article in a local paper.
