Just spent a fair while googling for UK liquid sellers - I did find some, but most are charging more for liquid than the shop in town!

Am I missing something?!

Thanks.

LOL :)

It's not too hard to find decent price stuff. I'm sure I can help. What do you pay locally and what sort of flavours do you like?

Presumably, you have found your way to either premium liquid sellers or just over-priced nonsense.

I can offer £1.49 (10ml) as a starting point for great value uk-made liquid, £2.49 for dekang (the same as the £4.99 from some rip-off vendors) or £2.50-£3.50 for freshly made in 50+ flavours.

Where do you want to start?

I would say have a look a LT e-cigs first off. I ordered 5 x 10ml from them today.

As djsvapour said you can get juice that's decent quality from £1.49 here :

Home - Joose Juice E-Liquids

Going up to £9.00 for 15ml here :

Spiritus Vapes

Then in between, you've got Triphammer, Vaplogy, Vape Escape and Vapist.net

All good vendors that I've used myself.

In the very early days, I bought some bottles for £4.99 from one vendor.

It occurred to me months later that I was making single/double flavour liquids just as good for less then £1.

I went back to their website and now their liquids are £5.99. Completely ridiculous. Grizwald is £12.99 for 30ml and Alchemist is £4.30 for 10ml.

Paying more than £5, the liquid needs to b a) very good and b) more complex than just chucking 4 ingredients in a bottle and marking it up from 80p to £5.99.

and there is one company that re-labels the Dekang I buy for £2.49 and charges £6.99.

All this stuff is a major problem with vaping for the new e-cig user.

My local shop does 3 bottles for £10. Nice liquids too.

- - -

£6.99 for Dekang. What a rip-off.

The difference between cheap liquid and good expensive liquid is massive, vendors like Mrs Lords charge a premium but the juices are just brilliant.

Price alone hardly ever shows you what's worth trying though, the best way to avoid the bad is research, check out sites like All the Juices for crowdsourced reviews and to browse flavours and that. You'll probably find lots of vapes you'd never spot otherwise :)

(should probably mention that I made All the Juices because like you I was sick of spending ages trawling around the web trying to find good juice to vape and fed up of wasting money on complete let downs).

ATM - a shop nearby has counterfeit Cloud-9 (apparently the genuine article isn't available in shops) for £1.99p/10ml. I usually buy at least 6 at a time so I'd be interested in a larger bottle for a price saving - mail order often has a minimum order charge, so it might be in my best interests to order quite a big bottle.

As for flavour; I'd only be interested in regular tobacco or strong tobacco.

Also I'm on the lookout for better quality cartomisers compatible with the Vapourlites battery - there's plenty of cartomisers online, but most sellers seem a little shy about stating in so many words which cartomisers fit what batteries.

When I first started vaping, I bought juice from a local B&M. Think I used to pay about a tenner for 30ml, plus he would always add extra flavour for me - 20% instead of his usual 12%. One day while I was there, I noticed a box with "Totally Wicked" on the label, so decided to do a bit of googling when I got home. That's how DIY started for me.

Months later, I've probably thrown out or given away more than half of all the juices I've tried. Now I order from the vendors I listed above, as well as making my own still - my chocolate/caramel with a dash of cream and honey is amazing, if I do say so myself

As well as those vendors I still order a few liquids from China and Grants Vanilla Custard (when I can find it in stock).

What I'm trying to say is, it does take time to find juices to suit your tastes. But try and check reviews of other people that have similar taste profiles to your own. There's plenty of great vendors out there, some will even let you order samplers. I'm happy with the 30 or so juices that I've currently got in my vaping cupboard, but I'm still looking for my "holy grail" vape ;)

B&M recently opened a new store in my town, I had a look round but didn't notice any e-cig supplies. IWHT they'd keep it next to the tills. I'll have to ask the staff next time I go in there.

It would be handy to have a walk in second source - last time I went in the newsagent, he asked me how much I was paying for fluid, he had some on the shelf that he says he can't sell for less than £4.95/10ml - if he finds out *WHERE* I'm getting cloud9 for £1.99 - he'll probably grass them up!

To be honest, most of the B&M's near me all sell the same sort of stuff. I grew out of the gear they sell after about a month of vaping ;) In fact I went in one last week near my Sister's house to pick her some juice up. They were trying to sell me a CE4 and a basic ego type battery, until I pulled out my Reo and took a vape. The young girl behind the counter said what's that ?? I told her it's a Reo Grand with an RM2 bottom fed RBA on top. She soon decided that I didn't need an ego battery

Most of the guys at work, seem happy with their basic set-ups and that's what most B&M's cater for. As well as trying to undercut each other with the same juices. To me, the only way to buy something different is on-line. There are a couple of exceptions, like Vape Escape in Heywood. Anyway, I hope you find the juices your after. It may take a while, but that's all part of the fun :)

Gosh, you are tough to please. :)

The cloud9 you are talking about is the same product line as sold in Homebargains. I have 3 of the flavours and vape none of them, so if you like them you can have them (for free) except I think I gave the Menthol away. ??

I thought I'd suggested cartomisers for your Vapourlites battery...but maybe you found my post too unhelpful (given that I am not exactly keen on the whole idea of putting a decent carto on a very poor battery)... I apologise.

All you need to buy is a simple pack of 510 cartomisers (if we are sure Vapourlites are 510).

Something like this would do it

Boge Cartomiser 35mm Pack of 5

Cloud9 know about the cloud9 products. It's not exactly "counterfeit" more of a problem of two companies fighting over the name. Clearly the real Cloud9 are upset and the other lot don't/can't afford to do anything about it. Either way, it's not great e-liquid.
If £1.99 is what you have been paying and feel that is "about right", then only Joose Juice can match that, I fear.
OR ordering from China on the 4-6 week slow boat.

I am keen to help if I can and am sorry for being awkward if it came over that way.

The battery might be crap - but its better than 3x Ni-Mh AAA cells! Currently I have a 3x AA holder with a microswitch & carto receptacle attached. Recently I bought a load of "ready to use" (low self discharge) AA Ni-Mh from Lidl.

Brand new AA Ni-Mh are just about up to the job - Ni-Cd work much better, when I can get them.

I'd be delighted to take any fluid surplus to your requirements off your hands - how do you propose going about it?

Have you taken a look at LT e-cigs?

I am expecting 5 bottles tomorrow from them. Looking forward to trying something new.

I'll see how much home bargains juice there is left. I guess I would post it, unless since I last posted liquid they made it illegal or something.

If you really need some good price juice, then Joose Juice is the best bet.

Had a look at LT - best online price I've seen so far, but its still only just barely cheaper than the shop in town - that will probably be wiped out by P&P.

Sent a message for info on any price breaks, but since most suppliers I contacted seem in no great hurry to reply, I've had to spend my money in the shop.

Go back on LT and look at there DIY liquid, you can buy the base pre-mixed PG/VG in different nic strength so no messing with cutting it yourself. Just split it into 10ml bottles and add your own flavor :) depending on flavoring % it might lower the nic slightly but should work out cheaper.

Yes, if you can raise the funds for ingredients, you can make e-liquid (good stuff too) for under £1.

100mls for £6.18 + 10-20mls of flavour, (you could get 11 bottles total) depending on strength. Tobacco flavours use far less flavour too.

I make Lime. I guess it costs about £1.10, but I use 22% flavour.

Never even liked menthol back in the days I smoked ready made - I literally shudder at the thought of the blueberry or cherry flavours at the local shop.

Presumably if I went the DIY route, I'd still have to add some sort of tobacco flavour.

Yes, you buy the liquid (premixed maybe) and add a few % of tobacco flavouring.

I know people that make tobacco e-liquid using premade 18mg and under 1/4ml of Inawera tobacco. The liquids I am getting tomorrow are mostly made using Inawera tobacco concentrates. If I like any of them, I will start making my own.

DIY is definitely the way forward if you want a superb tasting juice for a tiny price. It costs me about £1-1.20 to make up 10ml with DIY. The only juice I've not had any success with is coffee, they all taste vile

But if you want to save money and have the time to do it, try DIY. Do a lot of research first though.
