I just got my first bottle of GJ. Very disappointed. Almost no flavor but vapor production is good. I won't be trying this again.

Let it steep for a week or two then come back to it, I am sure you will pleasantly surprised..
I got this through SmokTek... do they mix their own or stock it? If they stock it, it (probably)should be already steeped? Me and a buddy both tried it and neither of us got even a hint of banana. It reminds me of how a box of corn-flakes smells lol. I hope it improves. Thanks and cheers.
Rob doesn't do any mixing, I doubt Ben would allow any of his resellers to modify anything while the most they can do is to pour juice from larger bottles it into smaller authorized AveJuice bottles. Also, none of AveJuice products even need steeping, to me, steeping is just a fabricated myth other suppliers created as a reason to buy time after getting complaints about their juice. If it doesn't taste right when you get it, waiting ain't gonna help much.
Contact Rob at SmokTek.com and ask him to sample the Gorilla juice or it might be you got Boba's by mistake instead. Rob is easy to deal with and a good guy.
The first time I ever blew out my tastebuds from vaping, it was from GJ. The crazy thing was I could vape other flavors and they were fine, but GJ tasted like nothing at all. Thank heavens I recovered from that!

If you want more banana flavor, order some Banana Slurry and add it to your juice. I like it by itself and added to other tobacco juices.
I had gotten a bottle of GJ a few weeks ago and it also tastes like BB with a tiny, miniscule hint of banana. Nothing like the kick in the teeth GJ I had fallen in love with previously. I'm actually quite disappointed.
You might want to ask for a flavor bump. Warning: Do not try this with Boba's Bounty. You will mess up a great thing.
Problem is that the first bottle I had gotten was fine and tasty. This one, not so much (like vaping BB in a carto that had GJ in it before). I'd hate to ask for a flavor bump and have it be overdone if the base was the potency of the previous bottle I had gotten.
I used to love GJ, and it was my go to juice. Until the same thing happened. I went through about 3/4 of the 30ml bottle, then no flavor whatsoever. I thought, OK, maybe my taste buds are to used to it. So, I busted out my Torque 56, and used it for over a week. Came back to the GJ, and still no flavor. It's really sad, because I only have 2 juices that I used. With GJ out, I'm stuck with the torque 56. I also wish that AVE would do a pg version of GJ. I may try GJ again, but this time with a flavor boost, and see how it works out.
I ended up picking up a bottle of banana from BWB when I made my regular Backo order and added some to the GJ. It was an improvement nonetheless.

I doubt it's going to be too much. I don't know if AVE changed their formula, but I'm starting to think that they did. When I first order GJ, I NEVER had this problem. It was the best juice, down to the last vape. No loss of flavor, whatsoever. Also, it's almost next to impossible to put in an order with them. Being that they take down their payment system, when they have reached order capacity.
I snuck in and placed an order earlier today and asked for a flavor bump. I hope it works out.
I got the juice (w/ flavor bump) a couple of days ago and finally got around to setting some up in a new CE2 carto. The banana was very present but the Boba's part was a little weak. I put a couple of drops of BB in the carto and NOW we have the GJ I know and love-full bodied and chewy. So I'm guessing the weak GJ's were just a batch that went out because I think if I hadn't gotten the flavor bump, it would have been pretty close to on par with that first bottle I had gotten. Luckily, I have banana and BB to round things out if there's a weakness in the GJ. If the sale was still on, I'd order a plain GJ just for comparison.
Check off another person who is loosing tastes in BB and GJ. I'm going to stop vaping both of these for about a month because they are pretty much the only thing I've been vaping for the last two months. I definitely think its the tastes buds though. I couldn't imagine eatting the same type of pizza everyday for two months. I think a lil time away from my AVE juices will bring back the flavors I fell so hard for! (I like being optimistic)
I hadn't vaped it in close to two months (from bottle 1 to bottle 2) so it wasn't tastebuds for me. The leftover in the carto after all that time still had more flavor than that second bottle.
I submitted a ticket and will see what Ben says. I smell the GJ in the bottle, but now I feel as if the smell isn't as strong as it was in my last batch. Damn brain is playing tricks on me.

I ask because I have a 12ml bottle that I refill from my 30ml so I can carry it around (to work, in my pocket when out, etc). I noticed that the banana flavor got a bit muted over time in my carry-around bottle. I refilled the same carto from the 30ml bottle, stored at home in a drawer, and BAM... that wonderful banana flavor was back big time.
And yes, I shake all of them up before they go in the carto.

Make sure you're shaking your juice before you transfer it. That really hurt me with GJ. Once I polished off a 30 mil bottle, I made sure to shake shake shake the bottle, every time before filling up a carto/tank and it has really helped to keep the flavor consistent.
