Ok I got it in less than a week, insane... Well it's a beauty all right, made it a .9 ohms coil with 28 gauge. Now is it normal that my rm2 (even with the rubber ring) airhole is not positioned on the left (up of the firing button) but an inch and a half right of it ? Also the brass rm2 gets hot easy, is that normal too ?
The 510 is adjustable (use the included allen key - reverse threaded) so you can have the air hole wherever you want. Best is to have it opposite your vaping position.
RM2 does not get very hot in my experience, just warm.

How do I use the key ?
The key fits in the center of the 510 connector. Clockwise will raise the pin, counter-clockwise will lower the pin.

ok but when it's in the right spot no need to change it right ?

Right. It is possible that it may drift a little if you remove/install the atty often, but not likely. I've not had any of mine drift after many atty changes.

You may need to adjust it if you change to a different atty though.

You're welcome. I love it! Especially the markings, there's a name for them, but I can't remember what it's called.
They are called 'medullary rays' you get them when you quarter-saw an oak log.
If instead of cutting the log top to bottom all the way across (planking) you saw the log into 4 'quarters' and then saw each quarter across the wide part you get those rays. It's a more expensive way to cut a log but you get to enjoy those beautiful 'rays' (and quarter-sawn oak is less likely to warp)

Thanks JV! I knew it was from quarter-sawn, I just couldn't remember the name.

I personally find that the RM2 which I sanded down to brass gets hotter than a regular ol' RM2.

My guess is... it doesn't get as hot because the Nickel plate layer is trapping the heat inside, and not allowing it to escape like it does on the sanded Brass.

I prefer sanding off the Nickel plate to expose the Brass. It looks much better, and you use a dab of Maas on a Microfiber cloth once a week, and buff it until it looks like 18k Gold. I clean and buff mine with it still on the Reo.
