ok so it works ....en fantastic and i love it beyond all belief!!! but my question is when its in my outlet the "cherry" doesnt blink... both the usb and the wall charger r red but the cherry isnt blinking... is there a defect?

when i Place my battery into a charger, the LED blinks 5 times to let me know that its about to charge. I do have some batteries that over time, just don't do that anymore...they still work though.
if I remember correctly your kit from e ciggs.com correct? I'm not sure if the chargers we use are exactly the same. Someone chime in.
Also if you used your battery to the VERY END. Like did you get the indicator of several blinking lights at the end of use before you plugged it into the charger? Because if so the "cherry" will not blink when you charge it because the battery is completly dead. If the light is red on the charger you are good.
When you vape the battery till it dies it will not blink when you charge it. In order to check if it is charging, wait about 20mins while it is on the charger, remove it, and screw it in again to see if the LED blinks.

well i saw it blink blue, and i actually baught mine from a tobbacco store, im returning the 510 when i get it, i have the kr808 series that comes in a black box with e ciggs on it

I see your from Long Island, I am from Long Island too, specifically Mastic Beach if you've ever heard of it. The time it takes to ship all depends on which day I order. It usually takes about 3-5 days--all depends on whether or not you order on the weekend, or during a big sale/holiday. It's fairly consistent though which is nice!

The firmware (software that runs on the microcontroller [computer]) in the PV (e-cigarette) is slightly different between V4L and the generic KR808. But the functionality (other than the changes like cut-off time) is basically the same. Sometimes the battery needs to "rest" before it can be charged. If you put it on the charger, it'll flash and charge when it's ready.
