For the last two months ive been dripping on a njoy npro and its worked out quite nicely. During that time ive been reading about other models and what not. Decided on a riva 510.

Putting various juices from fsusa in there (via cart and dripping) the vapor production is fine and i get a good throat hit...but. Its tastes absolutely disgusting. So bad to the point that i put the 510 back in its box and took my 4081 carts back out. This goes for about 7 different flavors that i had no problems with dripping them in a 4081 carto. The taste actually makes me feel a lil sick. And NO im not having a nicotine overdose.

Its not a burning taste, kind of a fog machine/chemical/electrical taste. Totally nasty and i wont be putting the 510 back to my mouth again most likely. Im not going to go through all sorts of different models to find something i like, im off the analogs which is why i started vaping in the first place. I think next step now is just not inhaling any nicotine/fog at all.

Pretty disappointed.

Yes, i did that...twice. I put the spare atty that came with the kit in there and had the same results. I think the 4081 carts 'burn' a little bit and has been masking that nasty flavor im getting now that im vaping 'clean'.

I dunno, im just going to shelve it with all the other crap i spend money on and dont use. I got this to enjoy and the 510 has been the complete opposite for me.

My 510 atties never taste good for the first day of use. It's a common problem and I really wish they'd stop putting that nasty primer stuff on them! I blow it out, then flood them with flavored liquid, blow out again, then stick a couple drops directly on the bridge, then let them sit for 10 minutes or so, then take a couple small puffs without inhaling. By then it's usually good to go, but still doesn't seem to reach full flavor potential until the second day of use. I'm always so happy when I happen to get a new atomizer that barely has any primer fluid in it.
