Got my 510 today :)

Hi all,

I have been reading around on these forums for about a week after I found it randomly while reading about e-cigs..

What first actually "SHOCKED" me were people's signatures displaying their counted days without ciggies, reading some people's posts talking how they quit smoking the first day they tried a vape! 8-o The first thing I thought about was "man, this thing seems to work.. but 'the powers that be' try to suppress it cause it seems like, this e-cig could really be what can put an end to their business"..

I was convinced I wanted to buy one and at least try it.. I thought to myself.. I bought a box of necoderm two months ago for about the same price.. so why not give this a try.. besides, I love blue LEDs

Well, I ordered a 510 from electronicstix after so much research -here on these forums and elsewhere- in two nights I also ordered a good 30ml of 36mg TotallyWicked liquid and a carrying case to protect "my new toy"..

I have received my 510 today and I absolutely LOVE IT!

Not to over-excite myself or you.. I have not touched a ciggie the whole day!

I was actually the same exact way when I received my first 510 as well.

But, being on the budget I am, I couldn't afford juice with my initial purchase, so I had to wait a week until I got paid to order some. Speaking of which, that package should be here tomorrow. :3

I smoked my 510 straight for 3 days, not once touching an analog, because I had no reason to. Every time I got the "craving," I'd reach for my 510, take a drag, set it back down, and I'd be good until my next "craving."

And, boy, let me tell you. It has worked wonders!

That's great to hear If you plan on sticking with it, get yourself a good battery mod and learn how to cut your own e-liquid... save a ton of money that way

I wasn't home and stupid USPS didn't leave the package, I have to go pick it up tomorrow My first 510. Been using a 401 and love it to death. But wanted to try other models before I stock up on parts for the 401. See what I'm missing

Good luck on the journey. If you aren't 100% like the people you have been reading about don't beat yourself up. A lot of us here are in transition. Every one you don't smoke is one further on the road to being cigarette free.

Not so hard to kick the BUTTS, now is it?

A poll here showed that these have an 85%ish success rate (staying cigarette free) compared to the about 14% of the Cessation CRAPOLA.

Just keep it up, and props for the desire to better EVERYTHING!

About 1-2.5 weeks you might have the Lung Shed (of TAR if you stay off the ciggies)... a bit tough breathing for a few days for me, but it goes away.

It IS nice to say "I haven't had a NASTY cigarette in BLA BLA BLA" for once in my life! Self Medicating, with support... I guess you can't go wrong here.
