Hello, all...e-cig newbie here!
I was a pack-a-day Marlboro Lights smoker for 6-7 years or so, then "quit" at the request of my then-girlfriend (now wife!). I travel a lot for work, and end up smoking every time I go on travel. Thus, I haven't "quit." I find myself nic-fitting at work sometimes, and on days when MY wife is out of town and I can smoke at work, I get a lot more done. So, after reading these forums for a while, and deciding I want to be DONE with analogs, I decided to order the 510 from ElectroNicStix.
As I sit here, my two batteries are charging away...one in the kit charger, one in my PCC!
I'm very excited to try this out. I've also ordered a 5-pack of empty cartridges and a bottle of vanilla nicquid.
I think I'm more addicted to the oral fixation and the time spent in the smoking area at work than I am the nicotine itself. This way, I can gradually lower the nic doses and move to 0mg liquid, just standing outside with my favorite flavor, vaping away with my analog-smoking colleagues!
Several of my office-mates who are long-time analog smokers can't wait for me to bring my new 510 in tomorrow. They want to try 'em too!
I have to give Jason at ElectroNicStix a big kudos here - his website is a breeze to navigate, and I got my order in MD (from UT) in just 2 days! Highly recommended!
I don't have any questions yet, though I'm sure I will, and I've already found a wealth of great info on this site. I only hope that recent moves to outlaw e-cigs don't come to fruition - I think this is a great way to wean one's self off analogs once and for all!
