Okay i got my 510 today, messed around with it, then went to charge the battery. The paper says to charge it 8 hours, use for 20 mins, 1 hour.

I pluged it in at 5:30, but 8 hours from then will be 1:30 and i obviously don't want to stay up to unplug it.

So my question is, can i unplug it at about 1130, then do 2 hours tomarrow, then 20 mins, then 1 hour? or do i have to stay up until 2:50 ?

Sorry if this is a dumb question

Not a dumb question - get it all the time. What is dumb is the instructions for a lithium ion battery that has instructions for a nicad.

As soon as you see the green light you're good to go..... vape on!! and welcome.

Technical backup:

Charging lithium-ion batteries

"Lithium-ion is a very clean system and does not need priming as nickel-based batteries do. The 1st charge is no different to the 5th or the 50th charge. Stickers instructing to charge the battery for 8 hours or more for the first time may be a leftover from the nickel battery days."

Other good stuff:

Do and don't battery table

"Do charge the battery often. The battery lasts longer with partial rather than full discharges."

So, unless you're saving up batts to go somewhere - ie if you're just at home and vaping - then as soon as the charger goes green, it isn't a bad idea to change batts. That way, you also get the benefit of the 'peak voltage' right off the charger - ie. 'more vapor'. And longer lasting batteries.

I only spent 'too much time at Outside' from some people's view. lol. I did my stint there and like all political discussions - after awhile nothing really new comes up and you start grinding territory already covered. The only differences are the adjectives that you use to pin on your opponents. ;-) Pretty good bunch of people over there on both sides though. I may return but I said what I wanted there. Back to the old routine here. Next project will be a big classified ad to sell some of the stuff I haven't used or don't use anymore. Lots of stuff as you might imagine.

I've been doing a ton of trading lately.
It works out pretty well.

The classifieds section has been helpful.
And the Pay-It-Forward Social Group has been great.

I have been giving away stuff I don't need to people who want it.
And I've been able to try lots of new things in the process.

I saw that thread there. Actually, I don't have that much to 'try' anymore. lol. I made some large purchases for those ejuices that have remained constant joys for me and I have the hardware and stuff for at least 2 years now.
