I've had my beautiful BB now for a week, still inside it's nice black pouch.
I'd thought I had the right batteries...wrong!!
I got the batteries today, and have to say this is a nice, sleek, small,
and light weight compared the SB. Plenty of vapor with the low resistant
510 atomizer. I just love it!! Been doing the 6v, but this 3.7v is just
sooo nice! Thanks Altsmoke.

1 battery if you are using the intended 14500 3.7v protected battery.

Never heard of anyone charging it through the atomizer port... I guess that would depend on your charger polarity. I'm assuming that "adaptor" for the tornado charger sort of reverses the polarity by crossing over the center-outside? On the BB the center post is positive. Don't know what it is on the tornado. The thing is that an atomizer doesn't care which way the current flows through it so they could be different. Polarity wouldn't make a difference while vaping but it would when charging.

Hmm cuz i think that'd be totally awesome if i could unscrew the atty and plug it into the charger that i already have. Then i would deff get one! COULD ANYONE FIGURE THIS OUT FOR ME????

Also what is the battery life on the BB assuming i'm using the normal 14500 3.7v batt?

Where are all the places you can buy this BB? All i've heard of is altsmoke. Is there any other suppliers that carry them?

I think altsmoke is the only people making and selling them..
they offer fast shipping and good service after the sale..
well worth the cost..

Do you think it would be a upgrade from my ego/tornado setup i'm rockin now?

It will give you 3,7 vaping which is a little higher voltage than the EGO. battery life will be about the same. Ego has great battery life.
I love the vape from the BB. it is a little stronger than the Ego becuase of the voltage although the Ego is good too..

If you go with the BB you wont be sorry you did.. It is very pocket friendly like the ego and gives a great vape..

Awesome thanks. You say its a lil stronger than the ego. Is that using regular 510 attys? or what are you refering to? I would be planning on using regular 510's because that is what i have stock of.

You can (not recommended by AltSmoke) use 2 x 3v batteries in it for 6v vaping if you wanted. I'm using 2 protected CR2s in it. I *think* I was getting about 4 hours? with my 14500 batteries. I've never seen an ego/tornado but everything about the BB and SB is industrial quality and fit and finish are perfect. AltSmoke makes and sells them. They do distribute to a couple of foreign associates. I think there's one in Canada and one in the UK maybe. You will pay more cause they have to go overseas, through customs, and everything but it is possible to buy them from another supplier.

I purchased some protected CR2s, which atomizers are you using? my 510s wont work with the protected batteries. the one 3ohm atty I had died almost right away. cartos will work, but I want to drip.

901 atomizers are what you want (you will need an adapter).

Actually anything with a resistance greater than 2.8 ohms will do it.
901s measure about 3.0 ohms
KR808D cartomizers measure about 3.0 ohms -- although I have a couple that measured about 2.8 so that's right on the edge.
Any of the HV atomizers would work although they would be a bit cooler since I think they start at 3.5 ohms.

Note: if you have the new hotspring you might be right on the edge with 3.0 ohm atomizer/cartomizers too. That hotspring is going to reduce resistance in the circuit by about 0.2 ohms. I got a hotspring for my BB but haven't tried it yet. I've been using my SB (came with hotspring) with a LR atomizer at 3.7v.

If it's a problem maybe Chad could recommend some way of negating the effect of the hotspring? Is there some easy way to add a few tenths of an ohm resistance? Like dropping a washer or nickel or something like that in the bottom under the spring. I know you aren't going to be able to add anything significant like what it might take to get a regular 510 to work but if 901s and KR808Ds won't work thats a big deal.

its funny you say that. I have two BB bottoms, one with a copper spring and one with a silver one. I will pull them out and check the resistance.

I have been loving the 6V set up with the vapornine turbo cartos.

they are 3.0 ohms.

one of my protected CR2s cuts out at around 3.10V, it is always the one that shuts down first.

at what voltage are yours cutting off?

Thanks for the info.

Well... I used to know that but I sort of remember it's about there. I'll check after lunch today when the current pair I'm using will quit. I haven't checked if it's the same one out of each pair that trips because they stay pretty well matched.

heh... It's sort of coming back now :). I think I checked once where they had *just* cutout so naturally one of them measured 0. Then after resting a bit it measured 3.045v... I'll try to verify that.
